4922 E Oak Island Dr, Oak IslandDonuts are freshly made and served warm which is great but be prepared for a long wait if they are busy, which was the case most of the week we were there. Inside can get very crowded and busy. If you are fine waiting, it's most definitely worth the wait. Coffee and ice cream were also good.
If you've never been here before, grab an order form and fill it out before taking it to the cash register to pay.
Will definitely be back next time we are at OKI.

Pepperoni Grill at the Beach
4320 E Beach Dr, Oak IslandDamn. This place has it all. The ladies working the seating area and the inside at the cash register were beyond polite. Friendly atmosphere. And then the food came. Pizza crust was crunchy crispy and soft at the same time. Perfection. Toppings are delicious and the Calzone is deadly. The kids had spaghetti and loved it. The boy left covered in sauce. Thats how we know he liked it. We left stuffed. This will be our go to pizza place now on vacation.

Second Wind sports bar
8620 East Oak Island Drive, Oak IslandCame into Second Wind during a joint bachelor/bachelorette trip dressed as two absolute backwoods legends named Mike and Mike. We’re talking mullets, pit vipers, fake teeth, questionable facial hair, and the kind of confidence that only Busch Light can provide.
Somehow, instead of immediately calling animal control, the entire bar adopted us and embraced our chaos. The owner was laughing with us all night, strangers were buying into the whole bit, and by the end of the night, it felt less like we were customers and more like we’d been recruited into a dive bar family reunion.
The vibes were immaculate. The beer stayed cold, the shots kept flowing, great crowd, great staff. Second Wind is the type of place where you walk in for one drink and then suddenly, out of nowhere, you’re considering a buying timeshare in OKI.
Second Wind? More like Second Home. Mike and Mike WILL be back. ???

928 Caswell Beach Rd, Oak IslandThis the bar and restaurant inside the clubhouse at the Oak Island Golf Club. On this visit I sat at the bar and had prompt service. I ordered the Angus Burger, which is an 8 oz burger, along with the Sweet Potato Fries. Everything was delicious and cooked as ordered. Swing in after a round of golf or come in for lunch it dinner. Indoor and outdoor seating is available.

138 SE 32nd St, Oak IslandWe cannot be happier with double- doodle Ausidoodle’s from Tiff! We have two beautiful ausidoodle females from the same parents and are absolutely in love with both of them! They have the same parents yet have different personalities… Both are great with children, have the herd instinct so stick together and follow me around and I couldn’t of asked for better additions to our family! The only thing you need to be prepared for I s being kissed to death!!!
