The crab cakes were seasoned perfectly and we each enjoyed the generous serving of coleslaw plus another side of our choosing—- he ordered the vegetable du jour and I got cornbread. The fish chowder was thick and yummy. We look forward to making Michael’s a regular stop when we are at Carolina Beach.

The grits took a while to cook, as they should, and they were worth the wait. The coffee was excellent too! This mini mart also has a wide variety of grocery supplies. They have an amazing collection of rare hard alcohol. You will meet either Jamie or Steph, both are amazing people to get to know. This by far my most favorite location to visit! While they don’t serve food to order they do offer tacos 🌮 on Mondays and live music 🎶 during the weekends in summer.

The staff have also consistently been very friendly and the restaurant has lots of space. We will definitely keep Riko’s in our mix of restaurants at CB.
