“Had to have a savings account to have a credit card. Had the minimum in savings. They moved the credit card to be managed by another company. Since I no longer had a credit card associated with the account they said there was no activity in the savings account. There never was activity in the savings account. All the activity was with the credit card. I was never contacted about what would happen when the credit card was moved to new company. So they took the $10 dollars from my account. When I questioned it they just said you have had no activity in the account. I closed the account and will never deal with piedmont again. Pretty petty to rip off customers for $10 bucks.
They have rectified the issue by refunding my money which they should have done in the first place when I contacted them. Thank you.”

“i saw that someone by the name of Lisa gave this bank a (1) star....and i am not saying that she didn't have a legitimate reason to do so... however, as for me... i moved to winston salem in 2013 and started banking with these folks...and have been in the office a million times...not once have i witnessed a dissatisfied customer or have I myself been mistreated...on the contrary...often times when people walk into the lobby they will greet each other and actually hold a sincere conversation... as for me. i am always cheerfully greeted...(which all businesses should do) and it doesn't feel fake. They are pleasant, always there when they are suppose to be there, courteous, professional, the gentleman that helps me with the loans and customer service has always been exceptional in his work and i have always been super satisfied....i decided to write the review on this bank, because i also have an account at bank of america on stratford rd, next to harris teeter and i recently had a very terrible experience there and it is not the first time. I wrote a one star review for them...and realized that i had never given these folks a 'GOOD REVIEW" AND THAT THEY DESERVED IT.... REGARDING bank of america, i keep that account as a Christmas account for someone....but it is not my business acccount... anyhow...stay away from bank of america and I would use the 1st citizens bank...office on trenwest drive... to me each bank is almost as an independent running business... actually most franchises are that way...and within a business with multi locations...there will be good and bad...(there might be other 1st citizens offices with bad customer service..yet i have a sense that the company has a real culture of customer service, unlike Bank of America, where their culture is mainly of bad customer service) .however....it all comes down to the people at that place.... and the folks at 1st citizens on trenwest drive , have never failed me, so i felt that i wanted to give them 5stars...just because ! .... thanks to all of you at 1st citizens! I appreciate you ! and to all you folks. (stay away from bank of america ! if you value your money! )”

“Sarah Lamb was excellent and has renewed my faith in this Branch. I came in about a week prior to understand rates and process for opening a new car loan. She was super friendly, helpful, efficient and non-pushy! About a week later, your new car came in and we popped in to open the loan. She was super quick to help us and the process was very smooth and easy to understand. She took care of setting everything up and then gave us the option to hang out or leave while we waited for underwriting. We went home and she called us as soon as things were ready. When we came back, she already had everything printed and ready for us to sign. We signed, got the check cut and were out the door. The whole time she was very respectful, professional, friendly, informative, knowledgeable, and efficient! Would highly recommend working with Sarah!
