“What a wonderful motel! Such attention to detail inside and outside of the room. The staff was personable and attentive. If you’re looking for a break from the average hotel chain and want to see how it use to be done, and done very well, we highly recommend a stay at Hidden Valley Motel. We will definitely be making a return trip ourselves. Thank you, Jim and Family.”

“Pool, breakfast, polite staff, refrigerator, and comfortable beds...

Only negative is the Parking/building layout. Face to face with La quinta poor traffic flow begging for a car/PO person to get hit.
The architects never get out of the office to deal with nearly getting run over when this much congestion multiple directions of cars”

“I called from the road during a 7-hour motorcycle ride. I hadn’t planned on staying overnight, but I lost daylight and needed to stop.

Chris helped me out over the phone, had a spot ready for my bike when I arrived, and gave some great dinner recommendations. The room was spotless and had everything I could possibly need. Great staff, super friendly, and a good location.

Thanks, Chris!”

“Lovely inn with modern, comfortable, clean rooms in a mountain setting overlooking Grandfather Mountain. The service was very accommodating and professional. They host wedding receptions offer a dinner with several options an an included set, table serve breakfast (we were offered eggs, bacon, and French toast). Be careful driving there as the roads are very winding. Close to the Mountain to Sea trail and many other with excellent but some strenuous hiking.”

“This was a pretty good location to stay for my recent and first ever trip to Boone! My room was good, they have a nice little restaurant down in the lobby with an expansive menu, and the location is wonderful; walking distance from some nearby eateries!

The amenities were alright, but maybe a bit lacking. There wasn't any free breakfast or anything, and while there is a pool, I'd say it might be the smallest hotel pool I've ever seen.

There is a Starbucks though, down in the lobby.”
