“We had the BEST time renting tubes and being a part of the July 4th weekend fun at the lodge. Rented 2 nice tubes for$22 total and paid $5 national park parking at the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The sales associates were super friendly and helpful since this was my first time and showed me around and loaded my car. The actual tubing river seems like white water tubing— especially from the topmost put in spot! I rented a life jacket since I am not a great swimmer and it was super helpful. I went under and lost my glasses but these 2 guys who apparently are repeat guests at the lodge found my glasses and returned them to me. Blessed by God, they are, I cannot see without them. Now I know I need to leave my glasses or attach it to my head! Even with the thought that I lost my glasses forever and couldn’t drive, I had the best time of my life! They also had an awesome RIVERFRONT live concert with a folk band across the street with seating, food, and beer. Seems to be a new event but they had a great turnout. You can get details on their facebook page.”

“Snow flurries and cold weather. We stopped for the night en route to Tennessee for a gamily vacation. The staff was awesome, very accommodating, and even had a small gift bag for the grandkids. The rooms were clean and there was plenty of hot water. There will be additional stays in the future, thanks to the staff.”
“Stayed one night during the week. Price was right and the rooms were nice and clean. The renovations look good. Close proximity to the shops in Cherokee and the start of the Smokey Mountains / Blue Ridge Pkwy. Casino is a five minute walk. Staff was friendly and the breakfast is enough to get you up and running in the morning (e.g. coffee, OJ, whole fruit, cereal, bagels, etc). No prepared hot food (e.g. eggs, bacon), but there are plenty of places close-by to have breakfast if that is what you are looking for. Will be staying here again the next time I am in Cherokee.”
“Nice hotel with everything you need when traveling. Coffee maker, microwave and fridge available. Very small pool which was not the best. Large dog roamed the area despite clear signs telling not pets allowed. Breakfast not as good as it could be.”

“We had a great experience visiting this past weekend for the fall activities! Our kids especially loved the campsite trick-or-treating! We will definitely be back!”
“The beds sleep great. Room was clean. Been staying here for years. I know they have had trouble with get people to work. Please look at your room if it is not good enough ask for a another room. Be kind when leaving a review. Thank you ❣️”
“There was no hot water in the shower; water was lukewarm at best. I hope they fix this ASAP, because having a nice hot shower is one of the most important aspects of a satisfying hotel stay. Room was otherwise clean and comfortable.”
“We came from Gatlinburg to ride the train and decided to stay for the night. I have to say this is one of the best hotels that we have ever stayed in. The staff is amazing. The little touches they give to everything is just great. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The dinner and the breakfast were so very good. I could not give this enough stars. I would give it 1000 out of 10 if I could. If you ever get to stay and enjoy the old world charm of this hotel, and all the details… I can guarantee That you would enjoy it”
