“Been coming here for years. Always enjoyed this massive casino hidden in the mountains. I've been to many casinos from Atlantic city to vegas and many other places around and this one is honestly one of the larger ones I've seen especially being in the middle of the mountains in a small city. Beautiful views, the newer tower 'Cherokee' has great updated rooms. The other towers the rooms will be average/worn. No matter what this casino you will have to WALK a good amount. Slots/table options are great, although some of my favorite slots couldnt be found they have crap tables and 'no crap' craps table which can be alot of fun. They have a solid little poker area. And the sportsbook area is very nice. They have a bowling alley, gaming area for kids as well as pools.”
“Stayed one night during the week. Price was right and the rooms were nice and clean. The renovations look good. Close proximity to the shops in Cherokee and the start of the Smokey Mountains / Blue Ridge Pkwy. Casino is a five minute walk. Staff was friendly and the breakfast is enough to get you up and running in the morning (e.g. coffee, OJ, whole fruit, cereal, bagels, etc). No prepared hot food (e.g. eggs, bacon), but there are plenty of places close-by to have breakfast if that is what you are looking for. Will be staying here again the next time I am in Cherokee.”
“Nice hotel with everything you need when traveling. Coffee maker, microwave and fridge available. Very small pool which was not the best. Large dog roamed the area despite clear signs telling not pets allowed. Breakfast not as good as it could be.”

“We have stayed here many of times last Time was about three years ago hotel lost power about 2 am it was hot an not a good place kids was scared and wouldn’t refund
Then last night I decided to give it another chance because they honestly couldn’t help the power went out
So one of the good factors in the area was that it had a heated pool
Was not heated water was freezing and dirty hot tub was brown it was such a disappointment like I’ve said we have stayed there many of times even decided to give them another chance needless to say waste of my $150 I could have stayed at another hotel in the area for under $100 but we choose this one because of the ‘heated’ pool and when I asked staff abt it she said no it’s not heated but every other time we have stayed there it has been heated!
Definitely will not be back
And if you go I recommend you check the pool situation before you check in if that’s one thing that is a deciding factor for you when choosing a hotel!”
