“Had a great experience staying here. The staff was always very helpful and I kind of already miss the pool and hot tub. I loved just sitting out on our patio watching the river. Highlight of the breakfast: Coffee machine did multiple kinds of decaf. Decaf coffee, cappuccino, latte, or mocha, if I'm remembering right. I'm not used to having so many choices for decaf at a hotel breakfast!”

“Nice size room, very comfortable bed. Clean, vinyl flooring. My only issue was the toilet was a kid sized toilet and I'm 6'3", so it was hard to stand up.”

“I didn't stay at the hotel, but I did look around, and it's a very nice spot. I played the slot machines, but not for long. I think it's a waste of money, and I do not trust the machines. Basically, you are throwing money away. I came with $100 and lost it in 5 minutes. I know its gambling, i tries and didn't like it. Next time , I will stay and enjoy the area.”

“This is the best time of year to go. Wintertime prices are cheap. This is a nice clean place to stay close to the blue ridge parkway. You can visit everything around and see the elk while they have horns. They look so much bigger in the winter. This is one of our favorite places to stay.”

“Located about and hour and half out of Atlanta, you are transported to a totally different landscape and vibe. Really surprised to see the poor overall stars on the property but I get the feeling maybe people are rating a less than fun casino visit. The property itself is expansive with restaurants, rooms/towers, meeting rooms, a concert venue, little shops, and bars. And of course slot machines :). We stayed in the newest tower (I think the Cherokee) and asked for a view of the mountains. We got a nice high floor and nice view (minus the parking garage which is what it is). The room was clean, spacious, and comfy. The restaurant options are good just watch the times at the Gordon Ramsay food hall as some things close earlier than you probably think they should. Guy Fieri's restaurant was a refreshing surprise (check out my review on the restaurant's page). As for the casino, it's large with many popular options and fam favorites. The people there can be a little aggressive with the slots but that is common at casinos so I don't fault the establishment. Definitely worth of a trip if you've never been and we are looking forward to another visit.”

“My husbands family has been tenting here for generations. His family as kids grew up going here, him and his siblings as kids going here. We have carried this tradition onto our kids lives as well. We absolutely love tenting here. We choose October because there is something about the fall season here. The Halloween activities are super fun for all ages of children, even teens get excited. We like to tent the riverside sites. Fishing is available and we take advantage of that too. I have seen reviews about being crowded. Yes there are others here, but for us it brightens the experience. (Not too crowded to us) Everyone is friendly and talks. You make new friends and so do your kids. Also I am happy the WiFi isn’t super strong at our site because we go for an internet disconnect anyway and family time. If you prefer WiFi it still works very strong at the front desk/office and they even have coffee there. We have seen others check their phone while grabbing a cup of coffee there. Thank you!”

“I loved staying at this sweet Inn! The owner was fantastic and everything was very clean. I will definitely return. The only thing i would change is the heavy fragrance that was used to wash the sheets and towels. It was just too much for me. If your sensitive, be aware and come prepared, it's worth staying. :)”
