“We had the BEST time renting tubes and being a part of the July 4th weekend fun at the lodge. Rented 2 nice tubes for$22 total and paid $5 national park parking at the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The sales associates were super friendly and helpful since this was my first time and showed me around and loaded my car. The actual tubing river seems like white water tubing— especially from the topmost put in spot! I rented a life jacket since I am not a great swimmer and it was super helpful. I went under and lost my glasses but these 2 guys who apparently are repeat guests at the lodge found my glasses and returned them to me. Blessed by God, they are, I cannot see without them. Now I know I need to leave my glasses or attach it to my head! Even with the thought that I lost my glasses forever and couldn’t drive, I had the best time of my life! They also had an awesome RIVERFRONT live concert with a folk band across the street with seating, food, and beer. Seems to be a new event but they had a great turnout. You can get details on their facebook page.”

“We had a great experience here after a very stressful travel hiccup. Our return from a show at the casino to Gatlinburg was unexpectedly interrupted due to the mountain being closed late at night, and Great Smokies Inn was able to accommodate a last-minute reservation without hesitation.
The woman who helped us was incredibly kind — exactly what we needed after a long night. The room itself was nicely updated and exceptionally clean. The bed and pillows were surprisingly comfortable, making it easy to relax and finally get some much-needed rest.
We were so grateful for the hospitality and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend, especially if you value cleanliness, comfort, and genuinely caring staff.”
“Stayed one night during the week. Price was right and the rooms were nice and clean. The renovations look good. Close proximity to the shops in Cherokee and the start of the Smokey Mountains / Blue Ridge Pkwy. Casino is a five minute walk. Staff was friendly and the breakfast is enough to get you up and running in the morning (e.g. coffee, OJ, whole fruit, cereal, bagels, etc). No prepared hot food (e.g. eggs, bacon), but there are plenty of places close-by to have breakfast if that is what you are looking for. Will be staying here again the next time I am in Cherokee.”
“Nice hotel with everything you need when traveling. Coffee maker, microwave and fridge available. Very small pool which was not the best. Large dog roamed the area despite clear signs telling not pets allowed. Breakfast not as good as it could be.”

“We had a great experience visiting this past weekend for the fall activities! Our kids especially loved the campsite trick-or-treating! We will definitely be back!”
“The beds sleep great. Room was clean. Been staying here for years. I know they have had trouble with get people to work. Please look at your room if it is not good enough ask for a another room. Be kind when leaving a review. Thank you ❣️”
“We have stayed here many of times last Time was about three years ago hotel lost power about 2 am it was hot an not a good place kids was scared and wouldn’t refund
Then last night I decided to give it another chance because they honestly couldn’t help the power went out
So one of the good factors in the area was that it had a heated pool
Was not heated water was freezing and dirty hot tub was brown it was such a disappointment like I’ve said we have stayed there many of times even decided to give them another chance needless to say waste of my $150 I could have stayed at another hotel in the area for under $100 but we choose this one because of the ‘heated’ pool and when I asked staff abt it she said no it’s not heated but every other time we have stayed there it has been heated!
Definitely will not be back
And if you go I recommend you check the pool situation before you check in if that’s one thing that is a deciding factor for you when choosing a hotel!”
“5th time dining here…. Just a great experience each time. Cocktails, food and service have been great each time. We highly recommend staying here and dining here.”
