Tootsie's Pet Grooming and Dog Training
1242 Chapel Hill Rd, BurlingtonToday was my Max’s first day going to Tootsie’s. I HIGHLY recommend them. He is a Malshi and I’ve never liked how anyone has cut his hair. The young girl there (forgot to get her name) did his hair, nails, cleaned ears, and anal glands. I was visiting the area and they got me in quickly. I’m in this area a lot and I will return again and again! Max came out happy and handsome and smelled wonderful! I’m a happy customer!! ???

Pet Care
Plaza Veterinary Hospital
2655 Ramada Rd, BurlingtonYes I am a customer, well my cat SADIE is-lol, and we are very content with all aspects of the Veterinary care we receive at Plaza Vet in Burlington, NC. First time I have had a pet as an adult and am in my 60's. Was unsure of the processes needed to ensure my SADIES' well being, but everyone at Plaza was welcoming and patient and you could tell they actually LOVE animals. Not just a job for them. Listens and communicates well as far as necessary services and the even more personal needs of the animals-and their humans as well! Keeps in contact via texts, calls or emails (you tell them which is better for you) and I am confident my SADIE is healthy! Plaza gives me that piece of mind needed to be a successful pet human.

Spay & Neuter Clinic
1919 S Church St, BurlingtonSo... My 2 year old lab/pit mix was abused and has squirrel nerves (literally). I took him today to get shots. He will not let me put him on leash, doesn't walk on leash, doesn't want any part of riding in the car. They wanted to take him inside today to get his weight. We do his shots in the car. They were amazing with him. Got him on leash , out of car and he army crawled from car to front desk! Adorable! She was amazing! Please respond from clinic with name of staff member! She needs to be acknowledged! They are amazing!

Iron Will Vet
2445 Vaughn Ln, BurlingtonDr. Miller kindly assisted us with the use of some large animal imaging equipment during an urgent animal exam at our wildlife park. Her professionalism and her ability to work in an ever-evolving situation was extremely impressive, and she collaborated well with our Park’s veterinarian to discuss options and reach treatment conclusions. We are very grateful for her assistance on a tight timeline. We know what a busy schedule she keeps! I would highly recommend her as a very capable and thorough veterinarian using top notch current equipment.

Alamance Veterinary Hospital: Burbridge Amo DVM
2416 N Church St, BurlingtonI was very pleased with the care and customer service I received from this practice. My animals go elsewhere and it seems like no matter what is going on I can NEVER get my babies into their vet and have to go to ER. Well this is the second time we have used Alamance VH. The first time was for my lab and an eye infection that came on suddenly before going out of town.. they squeezed him in same day. Then I had an issue with my chihuahua limping right before the weekend. Of course my vet was booked again. I called AVH and they squeezed my baby in right before closing. I was so thankful and appreciative as both time I felt like they genuinely cared. I will be going back and transferring my care there :)

Town N Country Animal Hospital: King Sharon DVM, Bolynn Joy G DVM, Horn Morgan DVM
204 S Gurney St, BurlingtonUnfortunately my dog got into some poison, town and country was the closest place open in Burlington. There was only one veterinarian so we did have to wait about an hour, luckily my dog vomited most of the poison up already so we waited and they gave us some activated charcoal to take home to help with her stomach.

All Paw Pets Emergency Hospital: Anthony Sharon DVM
3317 S Church St, BurlingtonI would like to say what a professional, compassionate and caring experience I had with Dr. Tickle and staff on Sunday, 2/19/23. Their expertise was displayed as I brought what to me is my “child”, into this facility for end of life care. This was one of the hardest things I ever had to do! My head knew one thing and my heart broke! Dr Tickle was very compassionate and comforting to me and to my dog. I know I did what was right and knowing that they understood was very comforting to me. I could not ask for a better place to go in an emergency situation for animal care.

Burlington Animal Services
221 Stone Quarry Rd, Burlingtonso it’s springtime and it means there’s cats everywhere. I have been volunteering for a program called mighty mousers to help with the feral and stray cat problem in the city of burlington. This veterinarian and all of the employees at this location are so empathic and genuinely care about animals and it’s something that I don’t see often as I lived in Durham, Hillsboro, and raleigh. and this is the only city that really helps when I bring animals in and doesn’t make me go on a “waiting list” or go through hoops and jumps to bring animals in that need to be fixed or need to be euthanized or that are in pain. if your in burlington and you see a lot of stray cats or feral cats, please feel free to join the program of mighty mousers and help us to stop the suffering of cats on the streets. they make it so easy you can give a cat rabies vaccination and get them fixed so that they don’t keep repopulating and it’s only $10 a cat. during spring season, some cats can have between five and seven kittens, and then they get pregnant again. if you do the math, even getting one cat fixed, can save hundreds of cats because of how fast these cats reproduce. I just want to say thank you to this facility for inspiring me to help and making it to where it’s easy enough to not have an excuse to not help. I will be coming through there as it is kitty season and we have already found some pregnant cats and kittens.
