Pittsboro Pet Supply
27 Commerce Ct, PittsboroStopped by yesterday for some cat supplies. Travis was very helpful and I believe someone named Jen also helped me. My cat didn’t like the cbs chews, but I was able to return them. I’ll definitely be back!

Jordan Lake Animal Hospital
50B Chatham Corners Dr, PittsboroBest veterinary office!! Dr. Weston and Dr. Staggs are so wonderful to work with, extremely smart and compassionate animal loving vets. Everyone in that office is so kind and helpful from the front desk to the veterinary nurses;
everyone! We’ve been going there for years. Won’t go anywhere else! Here’s a picture of Dr. Weston with my little dog Betsy recently. I do not think the prices are unreasonable, but I do think everyone should have pet insurance so you can afford to give your pet the care that they deserve.

Loops Charles E DVM
721 X-Campbell Rd, PittsboroMy cat Caroline was dripping goopy stuff from her backend & was subsequently diagnosed with Open Pyometra. She didn’t have any other symptoms other than dripping goopy stuff, so an emergency trip to the ED (per Google advice) didn’t make any sense to me! I then prayed instead and found Dr Loops DVM. One phone consult + x5 days with his remedy has made me one happy mom! No more goopy stuff, 100% gone.

Hill Creek Veterinary Hospital
75 Old Graham Rd, PittsboroHill Creek Vet is fantastic! We have been taking our pets to Dr. Bonnie and Dr. Cindy for years. The entire team is kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about our furry kids. Our 11yr old golden doodle Daisy is treated like family every time we visit even with her consistent protective barking. It’s rare to find a veterinary clinic that combines professionalism with such heartfelt care! Keep up the great work!

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Forgotten Road Ales & Provisions (Formerly House of Hops)
112 Russet Run, PittsboroLove FRA’s beer. I have been to both the other locations and really enjoyed being there. This one has so much more space and a much larger selection of craft beers from other breweries in and outside of NC while still offering their own beers.

Aromatic Roasters
23 Rectory Street, PittsboroFantastic coffee, they do their own roasting. Super friendly and welcoming baristas. Really like the new location in West End Emporium on Rectory St. Plenty of comfortable indoor and outdoor seating make it a good place to just hang out, work, or meet one of my coffee groups. Nowhere else like it. Cool to be able to get great coffee and also browse the interesting vintage clothing, books, art, and unusual gifts. So glad both are open 7 days.

Small Cafe B and B
219 East Street, PittsboroI’m a 36 year old man child that chokes on vegetables, but the goat cheese and strawberry salad with chicken stays on my mind. I should branch out and explore all the delicious sounding dishes on the menu, but that salad owns me.

Roost Beer Garden
270 Market St, PittsboroIt is absolutely worth a visit. Live music, being a blanket, and get an appetizer from the Belted Goat while you wait (it's a LONG wait for pizza). **missed opportunity for the Goat: so many people wanted to shop and/or get a dessert, but they closed earlier than the Roost.

Carolina Brewery & Grill
120 Lowes Dr #100, PittsboroReally great service, everyone is very kind the food is top tier. I highly suggest Brandon, even though everyone there is very kind. Brandon did a deed that helped change peoples lives, payed for food that we gave out to the homeless. Very much love to the very good place.

Piedmont Farm Animal Refuge
7432 NC-87, PittsboroPiedmont is an amazing refuge where animals are treated so incredibly well. Animals go through so much trauma and pain and have so many challenges in our society. And there's so few places who care or who will invest their lives in turning the situation around for the animals. Piedmont farm animal refuge is just one of those kind of places.
Volunteering, doing a tour, donations provided, all these are excellent ways to show support not only for The Refuge but for animals all over who suffer so much. The educational program is fantastic and overall unparalleled.
Chickens, turkeys, ducks, goats, cows, all living in spaces that were designed to provide happiness to the animals and an education to visitors. This place should be on everyone's bucket list and just a fun and worthy place to visit.

Carolina Tiger Rescue
1940 Hanks Chapel Rd, PittsboroThere are a lot of rescues here. It is hard to imagine what the animals went through prior to arriving here. They provide great habitats and take care of all of the cats. Lots and lots of information from the staff. They are all volunteer, so please respect their time.
