“I’ve only been here a few times but today I went there for my third trip and it was something out of a hallmark movie from customers greeting eachother and the unbelievable customer service almost anticipating my needs! Superior environment and service, the employees treated me wonderful which generally only comes when they are treated decent as well. Lowe’s is same price but not close to this level of attention.”

“Brand new ABC store. Very large with an expanded selection of hard liquor and mixes with liquor already added. Easy into the parking lot, ample parking, and spacious clean and organized retail space. Signage helps you navigate through the space and if you are looking for something specific just ask. Service was friendly and fast. No waiting. Masks required, social distancing enforced.”
“Love this store!!!!! Don't know why it has the rep that it does. But the meat is off the hook! I used to work in a meat dept at Weis so I know what I'm talking about. I love scooping up those early morning Mark downs and stocking up my freezer. You can get some really great deals. The store is a little dated but so what? The little food bar at the deli has some good food. They do have a tendency to let it sit a little too long but for cheap eats you can't go wrong.”
“I was very pleasantly surprised by the Dollar General near 3000 Emerald Drive, Emerald Isle, NC. Ill admit i was expecting more of a Dollar Store vibe than a General Store vibe but, while its a bit of both, its definitely more General than Dollar. They had great looking fresh fruit, un-scary dairy, frozen foods, beer, wine, sodas, etc. plus many general store items. All items were reasonably priced, particularly for a beach town. I had no idea. But now I do.”
“All these years I've never had an issue here yes Walmart is better but for cheaper deals on food definitely go here they always have bogo sales on your favorite brands !!!”

“I go there every few days to pick up basic needs when I run out. Their prices are a little high on some things. Nevertheless their products including frozen foods are absolutely delicious.”
“This is a great location. It’s pretty close to home so I don’t have to drive very far if I need something. Staff are pretty friendly except for one black lady that works there. Sometimes she looks like she doesn’t want to be there and it shows. This Dollar General is rather small and the aisles are narrow. Pretty reasonable prices on about everything. I can also get cash back here if I need it so that is a plus. I’ve noticed a lot of riff raff likes to wonder in from wherever they come from. Doesn’t deter me though.”
“Wonderful store, excellent view and merchandise. Love the wine selection too. Very sweet lady, Tasha, made me the best Phillycheese steak I've ever had!! Highly recommend her to make you a delicious dish! ????”

“I’ve been to 1 Dollar General in my life and said I’d never go again….. Well I’ve been to this location twice in the past 8 months and plan to go again tonight – maybe 2nd and 3rd time is a charm?! I credit it to the staff who are always wonderful, very helpful and friendly! We have a home down the street and can’t say I’d try other dollar generals in the Triangle where we live most of the year (may be open to try the others in the coast-area) BUT as long as this location keeps the shelves full w great items, the high caliber of staff and customer serv remains, I’ll a customer for life – Never Say Never!”

“Amazing look at this local themed monopoly game. Interesting that they chose a business for the game that didn't last very long. When you consider that the Mai Thai restaurant has been around as a Jacksonville business for over 20 years. Funny how selections for this game must have been made.”
“This one star deduction is for having to stand at the deli waiting and or chasing someone down to get help.Did this the last 4 visits.12/23- I changed my one star and bumped it up to four. I thought a one star is too damaging for my complaint. I know staffing is an issue and people don’t want to work anymore.My only other complaint is having to work around all the busy shoppers for online pickup. That department seems to be getting busier. So busy they really take up a lot of isle space. One time I had to turn around and come up another isle to get to the other side of the isle I needed to be on. lol. A little gridlock in Walmart.”

“Nice store but I don’t do any major shopping here due to the prices.My only complaint is that when I get something from the hot food section I am standing there waiting to be noticed. Usually the worker for that department is behind the wall working. How about some kind of a bell or signal so I don’t have to wave someone down in the deli area just to be told he’ll be right out. Yesterday I stood there for 10 minutes. That’s a long time when nobody being helped. One start off this rating so far. More get deducted if problem continues. Get a bell.”
