“My fiance and I decided to get fancy for our anniversary and go to Herons. We went to the dinner service from 7pm and left around 9pm. The service was excellent and we had a wonderful time. I was surprised we left dinner feeling full as the plates were small but between our meals we were offered different tasting plates. I liked the ambiance and staff at Herons but the food was average. There were some weird flavors and textures that were unappealing, especially the egg (second course). We enjoyed our time and paid a big bill for a fun night out but we wouldn't go back anytime soon.”

“This was a one night stay to visit Raleigh and Cary. I made this reservation months before going so I got it at a very good price.The inside is nice and clean. The elevators are a little slow and probably the oldest thing that I noticed in the hotel. They have a dinner(bar)/breakfast restaurant that you can get food from.The room itself was very nice. The shower pressure was amazing. The bed was made and the access to outlets amazing. Their AC/Heater has been upgraded which was nice.Overall we enjoyed our stay!PS: if you play Pokémon Go, there is a stop at the hotelPros:- Clean and updated- Good water pressure- Parking available- Good middle place to Raleigh and Hmart Cary area- They gave us complimentary water bottlesCons:- Breakfast is not free- We were given 2 keys, but only one of our keys worked- Elevator slow”

“Unbelievably at 4:30 on Saturday the porch as completely empty. Out party of 6 wanted to sit and have drinks on a beautiful afternoon. We were swiftly told that the tables were all reserved at 5 for dinner. It seems incredibly short sited that they would not allow $150 worth of revenue in bar service in favor of future reservations. ( we could have been gone in 30 minutes easily) We went to the bark bar in the park and gave them our money instead. .”

“Heads up this Hotel is not in Raleigh it is in Cary, 20 min away but it has the best customer service. The front desk and house keeping give amazing service and was so nice! The room does not have a microwave or refrigerator but it had a great patio. In the shower you have to screw the pull lever tight because the water came out of the top and bottom of the shower until we fixed it. Other than that the room was big with a big screen TV and the double beds were so soft. Thank you so much we had so much fun!”

“Got a wheelchair accessible room. It was very large both the room and the bathroom. Wheelchair accessible shower with a seat that folded out from the wall. Good pillows. Not flat as a piece of paper. Had some substance to them. Great service at the front desk. Breakfast was good. Coffee was good.”

“The location is close to everything and was excellent! The rooms were meh. The freezer door on the fridge wouldn't close, the elevators were quite old and the decor was dei outdated. The staff was very friendlyNearby activities: The park in Cary was great! The mall in Cary was just ok. The hotel is about 10-15mk s at most away from a lot of activities”

“Nice, clean newly remodeled hotel . Staff are friendly and helpful breakfast is generous with many choices and delicious. Our room is clean but has some strong smell of air freshener. There are also cigarette smoke coming into the room in the morning from the neighbor room.”

“I found the room to be very clean. Hallways smelled nice. No bugs. I wasn't happy about no microwaves, fridges or coffee pot. I am in a tight budget and was going to eat a microwave meal. No way to heat it. Wasted money. No fridge, for the amount of money they saved from not having those things they should be able to afford decent mattresses. I could feel every single bar under the mattress on bedframe. And the bed makes horrible sounds when you move! Rm 127! The front staff was a bit snippy. They tell you there's a 50 dollar deposit and before you can ask anything they constantly say card or cash card or cash. Not friendly at all. Would I stay again? Yes. I'll just bring an ice chest and my own coffee pot and pray for a decent mattress? it's close to my hospital.Safety: I felt some what safe till I had to go to my vehicle and there were several people having what looked like an after work party in the parking lot. They had ice chests on tail gates drinking beer and I could smell weed.”

“Great stay! A little pricey but it was worth it. The room was super clean, the sheets and linen smelled SUPER fresh and wonderful amenities. Unfortunately, there was no water or water bottles available anywhere. It would be nice if the hotel supplied you with at least two bottles of water in your room and some bottled water or a refill station in the lobby, other than that, I highly recommend this place. Great value and great rooms!”
