“Perfect place to stay if you have to come in early for a flight at RDU. Close to the airport, clean and comfortable rooms, parking on site, and free airport shuttle.
Left the hotel at 4:00 and was sitting at the gate by 4:30. Rode with Todd, who is very pleasant and made my early morning ride enjoyable!”

“I was at Duke for business and stayed here. The hotel is a very interesting design as the limo drop off at the lobby entrance is on the middle floors. Once inside, the lobby is immaculate. The staff were helpful and friendly immediately upon arrival. I stayed in a corner room on the 4th floor at the end of the hallway. It was large, immaculately clean, and well decorated. Most notable was the signature orange and bergamot fragrance, which I presume was Molton Brown, or similar. It put me at ease and was neutral and relaxing. Check out was a breeze. The only criticism, which is minor, is the gift shop did not have many items. I was looking for a can of spray starch to freshen up and press my dress shirt, but none was available. Overall, a great hotel.”

“Typical Hampton Inn, typical free breakfast, etc. The best part about this Hampton Inn is the Waffle House is 40 steps from the back door! We stay here so that we can be a mile from the RDU airport entrance for early morning flights. It's a straight shot from this hotel to RDU's Terminal 2.”

“We had a great stay at this hotel! It's tucked away off the main road with a handful of other hotels, so almost no road traffic coming in and out this area. Our room was very clean and large (suite), excellent bathroom, and a great location (tons of restaurants a few minutes away). Room was definitely a bit dated looking, which did not really concern me; there was no ceiling lighting and so it was very low-light even with all of the lamps on. Not a huge deal. Also, the thermostat and AC unit seemed to not be on the same page; temperature in room was noticably a few degrees warmer than what the thermostat was set at. Also not a huge deal, we set the thermostat lower and took care of the problem! Nice selection for breakfast, lots of seating room in the lobby and out back, and is very clean downstairs. Only one elevator was operational, which I did read in other reviews from a month ago, but I never found myself in a situation where I was waiting additional time for the elevator. Parking lot was massive. Please note - you are staying at a hotel by the airport, so obviously, there are going to be frequent planes passing directly over the hotel. If this bothers you, utilize some common sense and stay somewhere away from the airport (it did not bother me once during my stay). Overall - great experience at this hotel and I would stay here again if in the area!”

“Room is clean and comfortable. Location in relation to the airport is fantastic and they have shuttle to and from the airport as well as free breakfast. Their shop for beverages is limited and staff friendliness is hit and miss, but that can be everywhere.”
