“Nice hotel. A little snag with our reservation was resolved by a manager (Antoine), who was very helpful and friendly. Check in was quick. Breakfast was good (loved the smoked sausage). This is our first stay at this hotel (attending a wedding), but we'd stay again if we're traveling through NC.”

“Would recommend - rooms are clean and comfortable, staff is professional.
The restaurant is decent for lunch/dinner (though the menu is limited). The breakfast buffet is underwhelming, but arent they all? Nice to have the option available.
The in-room coffee is mediocre and wasn't restocked. Coffee is available for purchase in the lobby & restaurant though.”

“We had a great stay at this hotel! The parking was easy and $15 a night is very reasonable. The location could not be beat for a show at DPAC and the area is super cute with lots of water features, green space and restaurants. The customer service from staff was top notch. The breakfast bagel from the grill was amazing, cooked to order and a reasonable price (especially for a hotel). We loved our stay and will be back!”

“Stayed here overnight. I was genuinely shocked at how unbelievably NICE these rooms were. The setup is like a small apartment, decorated VERY well, everything was SO CLEAN, the bed was super comfy and shower was fantastic. Alyssa, who helped me at the front desk, was extremely kind and very welcoming and accommodating. The location is super convenient to a multitude of restaurants, and very safe area of Durham. I definitely wished I had stayed here more than 1 night, I didn’t want to leave!”

“21c is super cool. It has a fantastic hotel bar with great staff who cater to custom drinks. The museum/art gallery is awesome and you can bring your drinks with you. Everyone should check out the bank vault downstairs! Good drinks and cool art all in one. Its a must do!”

“I liked it! Great service with a concierge pick up drop off which was very helpful since the area isn't walkable (at all), rooms were laid out nicely, pillows and bed were a little stiff and pillows either deflated or too stiff but okay and the gym was small but had good working equipment. The biggest downside is the by car only location and random outdoor noises through the night (train, airline nearby) and a bright microwave timer light. I really liked the fridge, microwave and Keurig as options (even though I brought an aero press) since breakfast isn't automatically included. Biggest plus is the concierge, that made the trip here worthwhile. I could go to my office, get picked up at a restaurant, picked up and dropped off at the airport. They even brought my luggage when picking me up! Just outstanding service, both drivers were very friendly and had great recommendations. Rooms felt dated but slightly modern”
“Sam is the best. The hotel is always clean and comfortable, rooms are kept up up to date. If there is an issue, the staff is always helpful. The location is excellent and there great places to eat late nearby. The price is honestly a steal for a hotel of this quality.

“The overall stay was good and the staff was pleasant, but I did experience some inconveniences that affected my experience. The biggest issue was having to change rooms three different times before getting one that was suitable. In my first room, there was standing water in the bathtub, a half-burned cigarette left in the shower, and human hair on the shower walls. After reporting the issue, I was moved to another room, but that room also had standing water and hair throughout the bed that appeared to be a mixture of human and pet hair, which I understand can happen at a pet-friendly hotel. I then had to go through another room change, which took about 30 minutes total walking back and forth and checking rooms. Thankfully, the third room was fine with no issues. I also noticed that I wasn't the only one experiencing problems, as some of my friends who checked in had issues with their rooms as well. Aside from the inconvenience of changing rooms multiple times, the stay itself was okay, but I do think housekeeping and room inspections could use more attention before guests check in.”
“This hotel was the perfect place to stay. We were being seen at Duke University Eye Center and this was a convenient place to stay. It was less than a mile away. The hotel is conveniently hidden behind beautiful trees right off of the highway. It was so quiet and convenient. The check-in and check out process was quick. The rooms were beautiful and clean. We were expecting a free Continental breakfast and we were pleasantly surprised when we had a free full breakfast buffet.”

1(TV stations half of them nothing came up the ones that did work they kept coming in and out freeze or just go blank
2)the date on TV was dated back to February 1980,Spanish was clear for a .moment,
3)the tower rack was broken,
4)the lamps wasn't working or not plugged in or missing light bulb
5)the pool needed to be cleaned
6) the hotel name is false or the haven't put name in the right place that took over days inn painted that logo black but never put Royal Inn name on it so when look for the hotel itself it's in the front when it's actually behind it the first hotel which used to be royal inn it looks abandoned because the moved behind it to days inn hotel”
