“More Than a Wine Store — It’s Family
I’ve been going to Triangle Wine in Cary for over 10 years, and I honestly don’t know why it’s taken me this long to write a review — this place is truly special.
The owners are wonderful and treat me like family every time I walk through the door. One of the most meaningful gestures was when they gifted me use of the back room to host my out-of-town friends and family the day before my baby shower. It meant so much — and it’s just one example of how kind and generous they are.
The staff is always attentive and welcoming. They know my wine preferences and never steer me wrong — their recommendations are always spot on! The wine selection is extensive, with something for every palate, and their events are not only top notch but also incredibly cost-friendly.
Triangle Wine isn’t just a place to buy wine — it’s a place where community, connection, and quality come together. Can’t say enough great things about it!

“This was my first time at The Wine Merchant, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I had just returned from a trip to Italy and was looking for a bottle of Chianti Riserva but wasn’t sure which one to choose. “Grabbed a very tasty beer from here recently. It was pretty quiet when I arrived, but the bartender was helpful and answered some questions I had about the beer selection. Speaking of which, it was a little more limited than I was expecting. High quality stuff, but I definitely appreciate more variety. Overall, I really enjoyed the beer I did buy, so I'll most likely come back to sample other wares :)”

I ordered a loveseat and it came damaged, because it was big and bulky, I opted to not take it back, have them return it, etc. so they gave me an additional 15% off the purchase price.”
“My family loves this neighborhood store. Great products, friendly staff. Check their Smokehouse, coffee station and “beer den”. Buy vine/beer for yourself, smoothies for your kids, grab sandwich/burger from Smokehouse and enjoy the evening with locals in large seating area. By the way, on certain days they have discounts for drinks.”
“Very nice staff, very organized store, clean and fun. Many many options, expansive too, basically if you aren't sure what to expect, think of it as a bigger (in total floorspace and height) and more stylized BevMo.”
“Great selection and extremely friendly service every time I visit. They picked out a couple of my all time favorites that I love to share with other wine lovers such as Alto Moncayo Granacha. I go out of my way when I can to buy from them because of the gems discovered through their friendly service and expertise.”
“This is my go-to grocery store. Most prices are reasonable, and every week there are deep discounts on a number of items I typically buy, even when things became tight, first with the inflation and then with tarrifs. I eat one tomato almost every day, and their vine tomatoes are the best-tasting tomatoes I can find in the grocery stores in the area. I wish they always had cashiers but sometimes early or late in the day only self-checkout is available. The deli can be slow as well.”
“I visited the Lowes Foods at 6430 Tryon Road in Cary, NC, and was highly impressed!
This location is on par with the one in the Southern Pines area. I’ve had less positive experiences at a couple of other locations in and near the Cary area, so I was especially glad this visit went so well.
There’s plenty of parking, even though the lot is shared with other businesses.
The Valentine’s Day display was one of the best I’ve seen—very cute, with a great variety of high-quality items. Everything I checked was fresh and not expired.
The employees were helpful and personable.
I noticed a few open bags of chicken strips and informed a staff member, who handled the situation promptly.
There was also a bag of brown sugar (red, green and yellow packaging labeled “Batey”) on the floor. I’d suggest management review the surveillance footage to see what may have happened there.

“Harris Teeter is a top of the line grocery store. They offer a prepared food section that is excellent. Pizza, salad bar, Asian hot food selections are available. The rest of the store is maintained at a high level. Many options and a broad selection of food items. Enjoy!”
“Nice, medium size location. Friendly, clean, and not so big your frozen food thaws before getting through the checkout. Even found items not carried in other local HTs. Very impressed.”
“The quality of the fruit, vegetables, meats, etc., is top-notch. The wine section is extensive and offers a good selection, and the prices are reasonable for the quality of the products. The delicatessen is also excellent.”
“This was my first time at this ABC store because I don’t stay on this side of town. The staff were super friendly and customer service was excellent. I bought a case of alcohol and the clerk suggested that we open the case to make sure all was there, nothing was broken and that there were no empty bottles. I really appreciate him doing that for me. I will be back if I am on this side of town again.”
“Stopped for a hot lunch item today and picked up grilled nuggets. They were very good. Healthy and combined with some of the store unsweet tea it was a great meal. This store is one of my favorite Harris Teeters in the area.”
“I love everyone that works here! Every time I go in, they are always clean and organized. Always stocked up. They have a new cooler area with mixed drink like beverages!!!! I definitely want to give them a shot! But back to the employees that work at this location, they are all absolutely awesome! I have gone there for years now, and do forgive me, but there's one gentleman that has been there for years and years that I do not know his name, but he is the best! I do believe he may be one of the managers. He knows me by name, which makes me feel even worse and if he is reading this, he knows I'm talking about him! I do apologize and I will get your name next time!????”
“This particular Harris Teeter can get very busy but excellent customer service at the full checkout registers, but removed a star since self checkout customer service is a hit or miss and I feel bad when I greet SCO cashier and they don't greet me back but not a big deal since it is of course self checkout and they help with a smile when I actually need assistance so thank you and will be back and so will my family. :)”
“I received excellent customer service from Eric. He made coordinating an order for a colleague simple and easy! I appreciated his thoughtfulness (i.e. asking if he should add a message to the service) and ensured the order was complete. I would highly recommend this company and will definitely be a returning customer.”
“Update: More of an effort made to add extra but still not enough cheese for what I ordered (as much cheese as turkey). Real issue is with the website not having extra cheese be an actual option and not something I have to put in the order notes.”
“I go to this location regularly. Good prices if you use their member card. The building is a bit old and feels slightly smaller than most Harris Teeters.
Staff is always helpful at the front end and the shift leader/manager who is usually up front is extremely friendly.
Pizzas/Subs from the deli are on the better end of what you get at other local Teeters.
If you do visit, check out the Kathmandu Kitchen next door. A little on the pricey side with smaller portions, but their food is the absolute best when it comes to taste.”
“Mr. Joe A is the kindest gentleman at Harris teeter on tryon village location, he is so helpful, professional, respectful to his customers and the other employees that are working with him. We really need more people like Mr. Joe A who works from the heart and takes pride at what he does.
