“We've been going here awhile. Great selection of top quality as well as some hard to get meats you wont find anywhere else around town. John and his wife are the owners and pretty much run both locations themselves. They are very knowledgeable and personable. And the pricing is good. And John, you gotta close the doors for a week or two and take a vacation. You and your wife deserve it as hard as y'all work to provide quality products at a great price.”

Easily the best grocery store I’ve been to. Everything always feels fresh and high quality, especially the produce and bakery. The bakery items are consistently delicious, and you can tell they take pride in what they make.
The store itself is clean, well-organized, and has a really nice, high-end feel without being overwhelming. The staff are friendly and actually helpful, which makes a big difference compared to other places.
I’ve tried a lot of different grocery chains, but Publix is the only one where I genuinely feel confident and comfortable buying food. It’s always a great experience from start to finish”

“This store may feel a bit dated, but the deli is absolutely phenomenal. The fried chicken is especially outstanding—definitely a highlight. The deli food is tasty and reasonably priced, which makes it worth the visit on its own.
The rest of the store can feel a little overpriced compared to places like Food Lion, but there’s a nostalgic charm to it. Piggly Wiggly really has that classic “good old” southern grocery store feel that a lot of us grew up with.”

“I've always loved fresh market. I wish they had one closer to our house (Sneads Ferry or closer to Surf City North Carolina). Great for fruit, vegetables, baked goods, sushi, Ready-to-Eat food, cakes-pies and meats. It's a little pricey so we don't do the bulk of our grocery shopping here, but we always go to get specialty fresh items!”

“One of my favorite restaurants in the area. I eat there around four times a month, and I have always had a great meal there. If you haven’t tried it, and live nearby, you should. If you’re intimidated by the old-school, gas station format in Spanish, PM me to be your guide for the nominal fee of two tacos. I hope that still qualifies as a cheap date.
I was in there today to get some tacos for a coworker and myself, and watched the lady who I think is one of the owners loading Angus briskets into the fridge. It’s no wonder why their food is so great when they are starting with such high quality ingredients.”

They had plenty of cashiers so zero wait which I love.

“This is a really nice store. There's plenty of times it's not too busy so you can easily work around the rush hours if you prefer to avoid crowds. The produce section in particular is spot on clean and has always impressed me walking in the door. Whoever is running that department is doing an outstanding job.”
