“I had been a happy Cricket customer until ATT merger, when ATT destroyed 5 years worth of my info ( before tech routinely put everything on "the cloud". BUT Cricket kept its outstanding service, separate from ATT, and connectivity got even better (thanks to Matt which I hate but no longer has any hand in my actual phone and Cricket service). I had a first time bad ever experience at a different location (which is currently under reconfiguration).I am retired from 40 years career with a graduate degree and work that totally involved interaction with physicians, attorneys, community service planners, etc. In her area of expertise, Jailin Lisbeth is one of the most unknowledgeable professionals I have ever encountered. Her guidance as to what plan and phone would be best for my needs, combined with Cricket's continued technical excellence has me happier than I've ever been. I endured a miserable year battling with my Google Fi service, provided free by my son by adding me to his business account. Perhaps it's great for a million dollar assets company staffed by computer geniuses who trouble shoot the Google Fi horrors as easy as breathing. I prefer having few or NO TROUBLES TO SHOOT! Google Fi does whatever it wants, even when you're in the middle of an action and haven't hit any keys you haven't before. And you're left disabled to finish your task. My phone reception was so bad, if my calls weren't dropped the callers voice sounded like banjo picking, incomprehensible. Now I can go about my responsibilities free of rage meltdowns 3x/day.”

They helped us decide what equipment we needed, and set us up well when we picked it up. The customer service was excellent, the equipment was intuitive to use, and everything sounded great! “Nothing special about the merchandise in this store. It’s your standard run-of-the-mill Best Buy store. The difference in my experiences has been customer service. Most places these days, It’s hard to find people to acknowledge you, never mind actually help you. The gentleman that helped me my kids was courteous, and took his time to answer questions. He was never pushy or “salesy”. In fact the item we were looking for was not in stock at this store (rare item - not surprised), but he took the time to look for the item in other nearby stores and when he couldn’t find it, he texted me the link to order it online. “The young man who helped us on Monday morning was amazing! My son asked him to price a bunch of different Pokémon items and he was incredibly kind to do so! He never once acted annoyed or irritated. This was so refreshing from what we often experience in retail. He also shared with us the coupons that were on our account (without my asking!) And he gave my son a promo card. He was such a wonderful professional that I would drive back to Durham just to go to this Game Stop and give him the business. I want the owners to know they found a jewel in this employee!! “I think this location is great and I would recommend coming here. I just needed a iPhone car mount and they had the magic mount that I was looking for. There was some water on the floor from a leaking fridge system, but other than that the store seems clean. The customer service is good and checkout was easy. The only reason I have been hesitant to come here is because of not knowing where to park. However, there is a parking deck next door that has free parking for the first forty five minutes.”
