“We have been delighted with the friendly care at Woofgang in Chapel Hill, especially with the grooming that Cynthia is doing for our 66-pound Australian Labradoodle, Murphy. I can imagine that this breed may present challenges. Murphy has generally longish wavy hair, but there are some areas that are more curly. Cynthia handles it all very effectively. On several occasions our vet has praised her care with removing extra hair in ears that are susceptible to recurring yeast infections as well as her attention to removing excess "fuzzy stuff" between the paw pads. “This is a wonderful place to find native and non-native trees, shrubs, and flowering perennials as well as a diverse collection of colorful annual plants. They also have a multitude of interior plants many of which they propagate on-site. The store itself is a horse lovers haven!”

“I just had a wonderful experience in Petco with my two children and a dog ...it's nice to go into stores again and take the dog and the children to see other animals in the fish etc. More recently they've been out of my dog food --however I was pleasantly surprised when the store manager went out of her way to help me ensuring I found my product and I got the best price possible !!! *** this was a really nice experience after having a route RUDE EXPERIENCE mexperience in the parking lot of the shopping center --- thank you to the store manager for helping me out and hooking me up ----I appreciate the customer service and it's nice I don't have to shop online all the time for my pet products”

“Even though it is no longer locally owned, I feel the Phydeaux Chapel Hill location is a well run store with a great product selection.I have already bought several items here for my red miniature girl Dachshund, Basil. She loves her Squishmallows shark dog bed, in which I often see her snuggling, sometimes under her blanket. Basil also loves several of the toys I have bought her at Phydeaux (But, I have to be careful when buying her toys because her powerful jaws can tear apart ninety percent of dog toys within only a few minutes). Basil especially loves the cute iced dog cookies that are behind the glass case in store. I most recently bought her four of the several Halloween cookies on sale for the Halloween season. She loved every one of them! Each time I yelled, "Basil, here's one of your cookies," she very excitedly ran over to devour the cookie as fast as possible.One suggestion I would like to make to Phydeaux is to always have in stock several of the Wobble Wag Giggle balls. Basil has three of them, two for the outside and one for the inside. It is her favorite toy! She loves it so much she seems possessed by dog demons whenever she plays with it!”

“I was impressed by the kindness and care the workers showed the animals. They even have what looks like a kitty playroom, painted bright yellow; it reminded me of a daycare. The staff was sharing with me how they have a very high adoption rate; how they have adoption days where they go to local pet stores and set up in hopes of catching the eye of passersby. These and other programs assure they have very high adoption rates for adoptable pets.”

“Took my lab mix for bath, Megan was quick, professional, thorough, and pleasant. I would rate her and her service 5 stars, I knocked off a star because I did not appreciate the check out process. I am sure that it makes sense for them, but it was a little bit of a nuisance to have to pay up front rather than at the salon.”
