“I would like to take a moment to acknowledge and commend an exceptional staff member at the Chatham Downs Harris Teeter—Zaw, who works at the sushi counter. Zaw's dedication and commitment to his customers are truly outstanding.

Zaw consistently goes out of his way to help customers, ensuring that their experience is nothing short of excellent. There was one particular evening that stands out, which happened to be his daughter's birthday. Despite the fact that his daughter was waiting for him to finish his shift, Zaw graciously stayed past his working hours to prepare sushi for our daughter (even though we told him he did NOT need to do this and urged him to go home to his family!). This act of kindness and dedication is just one example of the many times Zaw has exceeded our expectations.

What makes Zaw even more remarkable is his ability to recognize all the members of our family whenever we come to the sushi counter, despite the numerous customers he sees daily. This personal touch is a testament to his attentiveness and genuine care for his customers.

Zaw is a prime example of exceptional customer service, and he is one of the main reasons we continually return to this Harris Teeter. His hard work and cheerful demeanor significantly enhance our shopping experience. We are truly grateful for Zaw and the outstanding service he provides.”

“This pharmacy has consistently does MORE THAN they've promise since our first dealing with them six years ago! AND ... they'll deliver, if needed. Not to mention Maple View Farm ice cream!”

“The only thing missing from this Harris Teeter is a pizza bar like at some other locations. There is a wide selection of available products, and their made to order subs are great. Produce is fresh. Staff are friendly and incredibly helpful.”

“This pharmacy is so amazing! My child takes a necessary medication that has become difficult to get. Dave took time to explain why this is happening and gave me detailed information about replacement medications that might work to take back to my doctor for consideration. He has been so extremely helpful!”

“This is one of the best pharmacies I have ever used. I highly recommend them. They pick up the phone and your prescription is ready immediately. The staff is courteous and will deliver with no charge. It is such a pleasure to have them as my pharmacist.”

“Chris in the deli was extremely helpful and a very positive person to interact with. I also noticed that she was the only person in deli/bakery/sandwiches, and she handled it like a pro.”

“Had a tuna melt combo assembled in the deli, by an enthusiastic employee that knew how to make a sandwich by time I went to ask for his name he was off to unloading truck, thanks again so much”

“Big fan of Phillip, the amazing pharmacist.

Update: Philip left for a better pharmacy company where he wasn't underpaid and overworked, with too few staff and too little resources. I'm deeply disappointed in CVS Pharmacy. Keeping great people like Philip should be a priority.”

“Knowledgeable, efficient, and #1 helpful staff. Been using this pharmacy for years and have seriously, never had anything but positive encounters and even help to lower costs when possible.”

“This is the place to come for all things Carolina. If you're a Tar Heel fan or know someone who is, you should be able to find everything you need here. This place is called "UNC Student Stores" plural because there are multiple stores inside. They include a mini mart with food and drink ("The Pit Stop"), a pharmacy, and a post office. The stores are intended for students (e.g., books, laptops, school supplies), alumni and fans (e.g., UNC apparel, gifts), employees (e.g., hospital scrubs, lab equipment), anyone really. My wife and I stopped by to pick up some temporary UNC logo face tattoos for a game. I haven't been in many college bookstores. I remember Wake Forest's store being very small, but that was decades ago. The one I'm most familiar with is Georgia Tech's (my alma mater). The two bookstores are similar in size (both large, two stories), inventory, and amenities. For example, there's a cafe on the second floor here, where we saw several students studying. Tech's is similar with a Starbucks. Tech's bookstore is much newer, the current one built in the mid-2000s. From the outside, Carolina's bookstore looks many decades old (I'm guessing it was built in the 60s). North Carolina is one of the top-selling and best-known brands in college athletics, so it wasn't surprising for me to see the vast selection of apparel and merchandise here, from niche books to cool collectibles. They even stock UNC logo lululemon clothing. I can't imagine many universities offer logo'd lululemon apparel, but UNC does. It's certainly a cool store if you're a UNC supporter. UNC Student Stores is located on-campus, across the street from the landmark Morehead-Patterson Bell Tower. We parked for free in the adjacent N8 - Undergraduate Library surface lot on a Saturday. UNC employee permit parking (N8) is required to park in this lot during business hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm. I believe it's free and open to the public otherwise, except for probably game days. The lot is small. It has about 40 parking spaces and the spots are narrow.”

“FYI...so everyone understands this outpatient pharmacy fills controlled and prescription drugs only. If you're looking for over-the-counter items including vitamins, wheelchairs, Band-Aids, cold medications, etc, then you would want to visit the employee pharmacy in the memorial hospital on the ground floor near the gift shop. This pharmacy is not restricted to employees only for any of the front floor stocked items. They do feel employee prescriptions behind the counter as an added service to UNC healthcare staff.”

“After spending 2 hours and wasting money trying to get a passport photo at UPS and FedEx (they couldn't either pass the government requirements, or provide it electronically), I finally found that Walgreens was by far the best place to get passport photos, especially in a electronic format. The employee was very professional, checked that the photo satisfied the requirements, and gave it to me on a USB stick for half the price of UPS.”

“Excellent place with deep expertise for natural remedies to health concerns. I had issues with hormone balance, and within a matter of months, I was back on track with the help of Chapel Hill Compounding. Fill my prescription is fast and easy, they'll even ship it to me so I don't have to make the drive out to Chapel Hill. You're in excellent hands with this place.”

“The pharmacist who works on Monday has really helped me out over the last few weeks. I'm usually in a hurry on Monday afternoons, and I arrive very soon after my doctor calls in my prescription. I wasn't in the greatest mood today, but everyone on the pharmacy staff was kind & helpful. Thank you to the pharmacist for hurrying!!! I'll definitely be back!”

“I’ve found the staff to be kind and helpful. I’ve received vaccines there a couple of times and both pharmacists were good at giving shots. I have one Rx there.”

“I like the points system for gas discounts at BP stations. We use the pharmacy and they have great selection. My wife likes the 5% discount for seniors on Thursdays.”

“The pharmacy and staff are wonderful. Laura and Dawn are superb! Always willing to help with a smile. I think the reason they have such few stars is people generally take time to complain more often than to give accolades. Let’s change that! Thank you Walgreens for being a strong pillar in the community!”

“As a Pharmacist the Board has always been very responsive and helpful. The two negative reviews are made by members of the public who understandably do not know the functions of the Board. I am writing this as a pharmacist with 46 years of experience and very much appreciates all the work done by the Board”

“I’ve been going to Walgreens for years, and I can honestly say I’ve never been as impacted by the level of service as I have been with Jae. Every single time I pick up my prescription, she is there with genuine care, kindness, and attention to detail. She’s incredibly thorough while still being efficient, and she makes the entire process feel easy and stress-free.

Jae is the kind of person who truly makes a difference in someone’s day, and I’m so grateful for the way she consistently goes above and beyond. Walgreens is lucky to have her, and customers like me appreciate her more than she knows.”

“1/15/26 My husband and I were in need of passport photos but since our local Walgreens did not have a working camera, we traveled to this store on Estes/Franklin. The young lady at this Walgreens was so helpful and got our pictures handled right away. She was very pleasant to work with - we appreciate her help! Would shop here again.”

“This cvs, located on Fordham blvd, is the biggest cvs i have ever been to. It is so clean. Well organized, and nicely decor. The Store front staff are very helpful, good customer service. Store Manager is so sweet. The store manager always so attentive to customers. Great Job.
The Pharmacy department: I love this pharmacy. It is the biggest pharmacy i ever seen. It so so clean, so organized. I alway see the Pharmacy staff wiping the check out counters. The pharmacy staff are so well trained by their pharmacy manager and team lead. They are so professional and never fail in providing their customers with the utmost best customer service. Most Importantly, they are so fast. The wait in the check out line, what wait? There is never a wait there at this pharmacy, they have 3 self check out machines and the staff always so quick and fast at getting the prescriptions.
Great Work!!!
The Drive thru is also fast. Like, even faster than In and Out.
Wonderful service.

Thank you, all.
Have a blessing and Happy Merry Christmas, to my favorite CVS-Pharmacy @ Fordham blvd.”

“This place is hit or miss. A few times people have been just straight up rude and unhelpful. But Christmas eve I witnessed a person named Baba (I think is their name?) help an elderly woman find this specific type of chocolate and spent a good 3 minutes walking around with her giving her suggestions. They were very kind and I wanted to make sure their kindness was recognized !”
