“Blackhawk (owned by Ace) is a hybrid of an upscale hardware store, toy store, and home goods store.. and I love it! I am always greeted by smiling employees. The place is dog friendly and even has a dog bathing station! Recently, I have come here for toddler toys. They have dinosaurs, puzzles, toy cars, bubbles etc. they are more expensive than online options but the in person experience and friendly customer service is worth the up charge. On the weekends, you find lots of parents with their kids here. I enjoy browsing the aisles since there are so many different categories of home needs sold here.”

“This experience was AWESOME! Not only did we get to learn how to make some amazing cocktails using Uncle Nearest by a Master Mixologist but we also got some history on the Uncle Nearest brand. If you live in Charlotte or will be passing through and you have a couple of hours to spare...I HIGHLY recommend signing up for a class with them. Trust me it's worth every penny and is the perfect date night, couples night, girls or boys night out. Just a great time for everyone! They also offer private classes you can do a minimum of 6 people and a maximum of 10. For my businesses, don't worry they got you covered too with Virtual Team building classes! Last but certainly not least, they have a shop up front for you to be able to purchase bitters, shakers, smokers, glitter, glasses, you name it! I also loved that the owner has a "bitters bar" for you to try it before you buy it!Will definitely be returning again in the near future!”

“There were so many options here and it was really nicely set up. Any time we asked for help we were directed to the correct place. Everyone was knowledgeable. We asked for help loading the tile because we had 2 carts already and it was the bigger tile. Ray helped us out, took us to the register and helped load everything into the truck. Him and his colleague loaded all 30 of our huge tile boxes willingly and happily. We tried to tip at the end and they were not allowed to accept tips. I was really impressed they went above and beyond and weren't motivated by potential tips. Great service is few and far between now so this was a great experience.”

“Massive. IKEA is always fun to go to but then you're quickly reminded how huge this store really is and how much time you'll actually need to spend there to make your rounds of rooms and products. For the most part, the selection they have is solid and while some things reasonable, less desirable looking items are expensive. A billion rooms to go through but they set it up well enough to go in a specific direction (if you want), to make the most out of your time and viewing. The showrooms are all staged well and give you lots of ideas and labeled very well (so you don't have to look for price/description) of item. The bottom floor with the separate products can be a cluster, but I'd attribute that more towards the customers that pick up everything and put them out of place. Plenty of lines but still long lines to wait. Overall, a good place to view/buy home goods if you want to spend half a day there.”

“My husband and I took the Pasta at Home class with Chef Dom and it was fantastic! We can’t recommend it enough. Chef Dom was such a great instructor, she kept the class fun while teaching us a ton. If you book a class with her, you’re in for a blast! The recipes were also delicious. We’ll definitely be back again!”

Between the great customer service interaction and understanding my needs, before I knew it I had the Creami of my dreams (deluxe of course, I love my creamiccino’s) Now my sister is graduating and I’ll be buying her one as her gift and I hope Jacob is there to help me again. Our prep station's compressor died so we decided to replace it. I called Gershon and asked if he had one on the floor with the correct specs that could be delivered today, knowing that was an almost impossible request.He immediately ensured that the measurements would work, taking the time to measure all aspects of the unit. He then coordinated delivery THE SAME DAY and did this in a matter of 30 minutes. The delivery team literally was calling me in less than 2 hours, asking if they could come early to deliver. They also took the old one away for $100 which was very helpful. They are our number 1 partner for equipment and understand how difficult the F&B business is. Thank you Carolina Cooks team!”
