“The Morganton store where I originally purchased my appliance is temporarily closed, so I'm doing a review here instead. I bought a range from Queen City 3 years ago. It broke over a month ago, and I've been getting the absolute run around from the extended service contract company. I got in touch with Queen City, and Cianna (who originally sold me the range) was on it in about 10 minutes with a phone call, replacement options, etc.

“I am undertaking a pretty serious plumbing job replacing all the fixtures in the tub without flooding the house so I have someone helping me and they gave me instructions of what to get. But they don't live here. The extent of my Plumbing experience is replacing the parts in a toilet tank.

Gabe was exactly the right person I needed to ask for help. He not only knew pretty much everything about what I was attempting, he was very patient listening to me and asking questions.
Were that store closer to me he would be my go-to person every single time ... in fact, I would probably call ahead and ask if he was there.

“I have been in Charlotte for 3 years from Myrtle Beach. I had all my furniture in a storage facility. Unfortunately I lost all of my furniture. So I needed everything. “Home Depot occasionally carries the exact products I need for a home improvement job. This shopping trip was no different. I went to Homes Depot to get paint for a project I had coming up. I can't recall the name of the assistant, but he was really professional and courteous, helping me with a few brushes and project prep supplies after mixing the paint for me.After deciding to have a quick look around a few aisles - window shopping - I noticed that although the store was tidy, the overall stocked areas in the store could definitely give a shopper the that it was cluttered. The self-checkout line was lengthy, so I wish they had a register open, but the check-out process was easy. Overall, I would most certainly return for any projects or requirements I have around the house.”

“I called to see if they could repair my Zephyr hood, but unfortunately they don't do repairs. However, Greg and Alex put me in touch with 2 companies who do (and who both have 5-star reviews), so I was able to get in touch with a reputable service provider, instead of Googling and finding a random company who may or may not rip me off. The fact that they took time out of their day to help me with this, rather than saying "We don't do repairs" and hanging up on me, lets me know that I will be using/recommending them in the future when I need a new appliance or do any renovating. So, so nice and above and beyond!”

“I am a looooong time Best Buy customer. They have been my go-to local electronics store for many years. The inventory changes over the years haven't been the most fantastic thing but I feel like they have been a necessary adjustment in an attempt to survive the brick-and-mortar challenges of an online retail world. That said, this is a note on my experience over 4 visits to the Rivergate location in 6 months of living in the Steele Creek area.
The product selection at this location is reasonably good and the store is kept neat and clean. In my visits, I have seen very few other customers at the store, so I am concerned about the long-term survival of the store. I don't know how long it has been at this location, but I've seen similar degradation of customer quantity at other locations that were historically booming so it seems more widely symptomatic than a given location.
The employee engagement and customer service at the Rivergate location has been fantastic thus far. I've needed help finding particular products in the store, had to process a return, and made a purchase with delivery and installation. In all cases, I was met with friendly encounters with positive outcomes.
As far as Best Buy goes, I really have nothing negative to say about this location other than I'd like to see a wider product selection. That said, I again recognize the difficulty in making that so.”

“I gave this Home Depot 4 stars. The staff was helpful when I needed assistance finding materials. Checkout moved reasonably quickly even on a busy Saturday. A couple of items I wanted were out of stock, which was a mild inconvenience, but overall the store is clean, well-organized, and convenient for everyday home needs.”

“People beware never ever ever buy an appliance through Electrolux/Frigidaire I purchased a Frigidaire stove. The stove is three months old. I had two gas leaks. They refused to replace the stove. I have been without a stove since December 26 prior to that I was out without a stove from October 24 to the following Friday then again through the holiday All the representatives do is tell you how sorry they are and nobody does anything. Do not purchase from them. They are the worst customer service once you buy the product. You're all done. They don't care about anything after that. Do not purchase their products. Beware look them up on Facebook how bad their customer service and their products are look at the reviews online a mistake I gravely regret I didn't do”

“So happy with my experience with Plaza Appliance Mart!! The customer service from their salesperson, Rick, was excellent. He made the purchasing process very easy. I'm very happy with the washer and dryer set I ended up with. Also, their service technician Max was amazing - him and his team had my old units removed and new ones installed and running in 45 minutes. My laundry room is upstairs but it was no problem for them and they were careful not to hit anything even in the tight stairwell. Max and Rick are awesome, thank you both so much!!!”
