“Usually my first stop when I get up to Cherokee. Clean restroom and cold drink. I gas up there to ride the mountains and enjoy the area. I even get little toys or nick nacks to bring back for the grandkids.”
“This was the only supermarket that had low Mein noodles that we needed for our Christmas dish. Unlike all of the other grocery stores, Harold's was smart and ordered extra for the holidays saving us gas and time driving all over nc looking for one ingredient. To me that just shows the attention to detail and to the customer. Thank you Harold's for continuing to be a community store and not just another grocery chain.”
“I stopped by on my trip last week. I got some local honey 🍯 from Asheville and of course I had to get some boiled peanuts 🥜 No mountain trip is complet without boiled peanuts!🤭 Friendly staff, fresh produce, along with several other locally grown items! Clean and able to get around easily.”

“This is my favorite grocery store in Sylva. Selection is a bit limited, but prices are good and the store is consistently well stocked. It's rarely busy and they keep enough registers open to handle the traffic. Staff is very friendly and I've noticed a lot of these folks have been working here a long time, so they must have good management. Shopping here is always a pleasant experience.
Updated: For no other reason than I just love Sav Mor. I want to retire and work there one day. Picked up some thick cut pork chops on sale the other day and they were so cheap and delicious. They also carry salmon steaks which can be hit or miss at other places. Great meat department, great store!”

“what a nice store. puts Walmart to shame. I enjoy that the lights are not too bright and the intercom isn’t too loud. It’s a far more calm environment than most grocery stores. The employees are extremely friendly and helpful. 10/10 shopping experience”

“Thank goodness for Walmart! It's the only place in town I can find my favorite foods and brands in one store! Specialty cheeses, Carolina wines, dark imported chocolates, prosciutto, etc. They keep the shelves stocked. There are an abundance of employees to assist you. Their electronics department always has people available to give you technical advice and help you choose the appropriate device or gadget for your needs. Great craft, garden, housewares departments. I rarely leave without finding most everything on my list.”
“I came to this location to pick up a few things and I was super surprised when I saw that they had produce!! I’ve NEVER seen a Dollar General that had produce. Also many of the stores I’ve gone into were always out of stock and the store was completely in disarray. This store was clean and they had T-shirts, 3 for $12. That’s something that I’ve tried to find in other Dollar General locations. Another thing I appreciated was the friendly clerk. I didn’t really catch his name but he is very welcoming and has great hospitality!”

“Checked out with Miss Misty, she was beyond friendly and very helpful. Also had long line she managed to check out and get out the store fast. This is the type of turnover I love to see at this location. I no longer dread visiting the dollar general.”
“Came from Georgia to North Carolina for the Casino. Did not check the weather. We had to head to Walmart to find warm clothing. Thank God they had Jogger suits in clearance $26 for top and bottom, and Reebok at that. We bout the whole family warm clothes and went on our way”

“I just got a mountain dew from here and I didn't realize it til i got home. I would check drinks before purchasing them bc that's disgusting that some one will do that. Its like when the ice cream thing was goin on people opening them and licking the lids. come on people this I'm is disgusting if you want to try a soda buy it and throw away if you dont like it. Don't put it back for some one else to get it I'm glad I realized it when before I opened it I just dumped it and threw it away”
