“Usually my first stop when I get up to Cherokee. Clean restroom and cold drink. I gas up there to ride the mountains and enjoy the area. I even get little toys or nick nacks to bring back for the grandkids.”
“This was the only supermarket that had low Mein noodles that we needed for our Christmas dish. Unlike all of the other grocery stores, Harold's was smart and ordered extra for the holidays saving us gas and time driving all over nc looking for one ingredient. To me that just shows the attention to detail and to the customer. Thank you Harold's for continuing to be a community store and not just another grocery chain.”
“It's your typical IGA. More options than most small grocery stores. Great staff, Allison, Stephanie and Pinke. Though they are the most expensive milk around.”
“This is probably one of the best food looks I’ve every been to. They had so many products we hadn’t seen before!! Their prices were also better than the one buy us.”
“We were greeted with the warmth of a buck stove and a smile as we entered. We found an abundance of fresh, local options my daughter used to throw together a delicious brunch (…not pictured….Boiled peanuts for road snack). We hope to return while we’re visiting the area.”
“what a nice store. puts Walmart to shame. I enjoy that the lights are not too bright and the intercom isn’t too loud. It’s a far more calm environment than most grocery stores. The employees are extremely friendly and helpful. 10/10 shopping experience”
“Good selection and decent prices. I appreciate being able to use their App to shop online and use their pick up service. It makes it easier to plan meals. I wish there was better selection for deli and bakery.”
“From the name of this grocery store, Sav-More Foods, I was expecting this to be a discount grocery off brand store. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was with name brand groceries. It also appears that this store is run by Ingles because there was an announcement over the intercom about careers with Ingles. It makes me wonder why they don’t just call it Ingles.”

“Best place in town to shop for groceries or dinner. Their fried chicken I swear granny made it. And their sweet and sour chicken and rice and an egg roll will fill you up.”
“A wide selection of merchandise makes all the Dollar General stores great neighborhood variety stores. Dollar Generals huge push to become a solid local retailer has worked and their convenient locations have given the shopper a place to go for quick purchases without the aggravation and inconvenience of the retail giants. A big thank you to this and all the Dollar General locations in this area.”
“I came to this location to pick up a few things and I was super surprised when I saw that they had produce!! I’ve NEVER seen a Dollar General that had produce. Also many of the stores I’ve gone into were always out of stock and the store was completely in disarray. This store was clean and they had T-shirts, 3 for $12. That’s something that I’ve tried to find in other Dollar General locations. Another thing I appreciated was the friendly clerk. I didn’t really catch his name but he is very welcoming and has great hospitality!”
“The employees at this branch of Dollar general went way above and beyond to help me get my things. I am a handicapped widowed woman and they were wonderful to me!”
“Thank goodness for Walmart! It's the only place in town I can find my favorite foods and brands in one store! Specialty cheeses, Carolina wines, dark imported chocolates, prosciutto, etc. They keep the shelves stocked. There are an abundance of employees to assist you. Their electronics department always has people available to give you technical advice and help you choose the appropriate device or gadget for your needs. Great craft, garden, housewares departments. I rarely leave without finding most everything on my list.”
“Always wonderful. Young & very knowledgable staff. Sweet & beyond the pale in honestly helping the first time visitor or local. They're beautiful, pure & simple.”
“Came from Georgia to North Carolina for the Casino. Did not check the weather. We had to head to Walmart to find warm clothing. Thank God they had Jogger suits in clearance $26 for top and bottom, and Reebok at that. We bout the whole family warm clothes and went on our way”
“I just got a mountain dew from here and I didn't realize it til i got home. I would check drinks before purchasing them bc that's disgusting that some one will do that. Its like when the ice cream thing was goin on people opening them and licking the lids. come on people this I'm is disgusting if you want to try a soda buy it and throw away if you dont like it. Don't put it back for some one else to get it I'm glad I realized it when before I opened it I just dumped it and threw it away”
