“This AAMCO is wonderful! I had to have my driver's side headlight replaced due to damage from debris on Rte 40. Also had to have an oil change. And they found that the air filter was so dirty that it needed to be replaced. This AAMCO's employees are professionals! They know their jobs and they are great at them. Excellent service. “I took my Expedition to Carfix and dealt with Joe. He was polite, honest and upfront with me about everything including the price. The poor mechanic kept coming across issues that needed to be repaired because vehicle coyls not be driven. Joe took the time to get me into a loaner with them so I wouldn't have to pay enterprise and they had my vehicle for 1.5 weeks. The work that was completed makes driving smoother and I do not need to worry about breaking down. The work by the mechanic was perfect and the parts used were top tier for my vehicle. Will use them in the future for maintenance and repairs.”

“THE local trustworthy mechanic. This is the second time I have been here; my Ranger had to be towed in. I thought I had a fuel pump issue, but Quality Auto Service found the root cause: an inertia switch that had been bypassed with shoddy wiring. Since the vehicle wasn't running, they could have said whatever and I would have been on the hook to pay or have an additional towing expense. Instead, they fixed the root issue and charged me less than I thought I would be in for. I cannot recommend these guys enough!”

“I had to replace the tires on my truck today and ran into an issue where 4 lug nuts, one on each tire, were a bigger size than the others. Walmart couldn’t get them off and sent me to Mavis in Garner. Mavis tried as well, but they couldn’t get them off either and recommended I go to TAG Automotive.
I showed up at TAG near the end of the day, already frustrated from driving around trying to get this handled. The gentleman there stopped what he was doing, looked at it, found a tool that would work, and had them off in about 30 seconds.
That was my first interaction with him, but he came across as a straightforward, no BS guy who actually took the time to help when the other places couldn’t get it done and I respect that.
I’ll definitely be taking my car and truck to TAG Automotive for work going forward. I’ll update the review if all is well after service, but so far, he has my business.”
“I really like this inspection shop. I took my 2025 GMC Sierra 2500 here and the whole process was fast and simple—about 10 minutes tops. All I needed was my registration and I was good to go. Later that day I realized I had handed them the wrong registration/inspection info at first, so I had to come back. I was worried I’d have to wait a long time or pay again, but they handled it right away with no hassle and no extra charge. Super smooth service, and it was only around $13. I’ll be bringing my other vehicles here too.”
“Injector pump repair(1979 Ford 545 tractor) injector pump repair (Bandit Wood Chipper) new injector pump for JD 455E crawler loader. ALL these machines are still running today with help from Chason Diesel.They are great at communicating and prices are very reasonable. I install my own pumps and they offered support if I had any issues, which I have had none. GREAT COMPANY!!”
