“Love Coffey's General Store! Stepping inside feels like traveling back to a simpler mountain way of life. You can easily spend hours browsing old photographs, books, and memorabilia, or pull up a chair and swap fishing stories with the locals. Whatever you do, don’t leave without trying the chicken salad sandwich and taking home a loaf of what might be the best sourdough bread around.
The staff are always incredibly warm and welcoming. We first discovered Coffey’s by chance a few years ago while exploring back roads on vacation, and now it’s become an annual tradition whenever we visit the area from Wilmington. Already looking forward to stopping by again next year!”
