“Hunter, is like the most friendly worker there. He has a great sense of humor. Like one time i told him a story about how i slipped on my piss at another gas station in NY and he was very remorseful and then i tried to lighten the mood by telling him that i work in crypto. He laughed so hard, then i had to go to the bathroom. two weeks flew by and, he was there and i was so happy i was jumping for joy and saying AOOOOOOGAH AOOOOOOOOGAH! then i grabbed a mallet and bashed my head in 67 times and i ran so fast to the gas station.”

“Good store nice employee. Exspecially the nice young lady in the mornings. They also make Hunts Brothers Pizza. And the feller who owns the store will LOAD it up with toppings. They sale gas and Diesel. There is also a place on the side for that SLEEPY 18 wheeled truck driver over night .”

“Convenient location off the interstate for gas if Exxon is your choice. I only go when there is a promo on the Exxon app or on one of my credit cards for extra cash back or points due to them usually being one of the highest priced gas stations around.
I can't speak for the store itself as I've never been inside under the current management, but from the other reviews I've read, it sounds like I'm not missing much by skipping the inside of the store.
I don't like how they don't have 24 hour gas pumps available. Once the store is closed, you're SOL if you are wanting gas. With technology the way it is today, there is no reason why all gas stations can't be available 24/7 for fuel, even when the store is closed.”
“This Speedway is in Morganton. It is a great stop. But always busy. Nice little convenience store. I had a massive headache by this time and they had Advils. The store was nice and clean and the attendant was very nice to me.
I had the kayak trailer and even with the trailer and with them being packed it was no problem. Then I had to do a U-turn to get back on track. And I went to the McDonald’s. Disaster there.”

“For years if I wanted an adult beverage I had to drive eight miles into Lenoir just to get a beer, now since Antioch food Mart started selling beer and wine it's a convenient one half of a mile from my house.The folks who run the store are always very friendly and quick to get you checked out and on your way, they have gas including non ethanol gasoline and a variety of snacks, drinks, and beer and wine products as well... unfortunately they do not have a public restroom.. oh and they also have kerosene if you happen to need that .I certainly recommend stopping by if you're in the area and purchase a little something if you need to.”

“I just went into this gas station and it was by far the cleanest gas station I have ever been in EVER!!! The blonde haired lady was so friendly and was making sure everything was in order. I used the restroom and everything was wiped down and cleaned so efficiently!! Would recommend anyone to stop by this place ?”

I trust these two men, father and son, completely with oil changes, inspections, repairs and to tell me when it's a job for someone else AND who that someone else should or should not be. Prices are always reasonable. They are always courteous. There are 3 mechanics I have trusted in my lifetime and these men are 2 of them.”

“I have been a customer with this gas station who has a drive-thru in the back so you don't even need to get out if you need something like a drink or you're getting beer or cigarettes if you're of age. I've been going through this drive-thru since the age of 16. I am now 35 and I still use this drive-thru even though I'm not able to drive I have a family member or a friend drive me through there. I am what is known as a regular because I pretty much go through that drive through everyday and get my yellow red Bulls, my Diet Cokes, and regular coax for my father who takes me most of the time. You are able to get snacks, candy bubble gum, anything inside the store. You are also able to buy lottery tickets through this drive-thru. Most of the employees are absolutely wonderful, but towards the end of their shift after working all day from open to close the employees seem to be exhausted and maybe a little slower and not as friendly but they are not rude to you. These employees work hard between the register inside and the drive-thru and I think they do an amazing job considering as much as they walk and all the things they have to grab for the customers and the drive-thru and check out the customers who come in. They also have gas and at this station so if you need gas as well you can get that there too. So if you're looking for a quick trip and you don't want to get out of your car I would suggest this drive through however sometimes there is a lawn and it may take 10 minutes to go through however it is well worth the wait and it is a very easy convenience especially for disabled people like myself. I would suggest for anyone to start using this place not only if they don't want to get out of the car and get their drinks and snacks or beer, but also if you need gas because their gas it is a marathon but their gas is extremely well taken care of with them checking the water in the tanks constantly and when you get gas there it tends to last a little longer. So give it a try I believe that you would enjoy it especially if you don't want to get out of your car and go in and pay for a snack or drink or beer or cigarettes or wine they carry many different products. And the employees are actually quite nice there may be one or two that aren't very talkative but that is fine because they are the ones opening and closing the store. These employees are still not rude to the customers and that's what matters most is great customer service, on top of having an ABC convenience where you don't have to get out of your car to run in and grab a drink or a snack or beer or cigarettes or whatever you may need even the lottery tickets that we all hope to win one day.”
“Located conveniently in Morganton and has a terrific staff and offers drive through services. There is a glitch with their fuel pumps currently - it takes about a minute to pump one gallon. Staff says they will have that issue fixed soon though.”

“The convenience store here, Quality Mart, lives up to its name. It's small to be sure, but the customer service here more than makes up for it. The woman who works overnights is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. They had 2 liter Pepsi and Mountain Dew on sale for 99 cents. Excellent price.”

I highly doubt thrifty mart will ever shut down with all the customers and Traffic going by on 70. Just a good ole Country Store that's been around far as i remember and im 40 been going there since I was a child. Very little has changed only some upgrades inside. A+”

“Play actually didn't have what I needed which was cases of pool bleach. I found one gallon of it, they gave it to me for 1/4 price of the case. All that aside at a young man help me in the back figured out that they were out of cases he was very nice and just doing a really good job. Then I went to the service desk and they were very polite and courteous and got me the one please. Even though I would have liked to have more. It was a good experience”
