“Good place. Honest employees, good prices, and a good country restaurant inside. Great pan fried livermush! Just don't get it if it's been sitting in the warming box, it has to be freshly made if it's livermush or it'll taste terrible, like it's microwaved.”
“Great service good deal love the speedy rewards Kim the manager is and does a great job running things and keeping things in order she's awesome and subway inside speed way is great to Nykolle is super nice and makes the best subs best subway Ive been to”
“Store is ALWAYS clean, staff is so friendly and helpful. Always greeted when I walk in, and told to have a great day when I leave. I have terrible issues with my back and hip. When I need gas, and having a day, I call, and someone comes out to pump for me. Customer service at it's best!!”

“The folks in there work hard at the jobs they have to make it as cheap as possible for all of us.
It may be run down a little but aren't we all a little worn. Good people great service. Thank you”
“Great store for quick food and cheap nic has saved me many times in a pickle only thing I can say is pay attention to expiration dates here cause they do not especially with the candy some is stale they probably just forget cause it’s not got a lot but other than that I love this store and the owners are always nice and help me out if I have questions”
“Its a convenience store that also sells diesel and gasoline including an ethanol free gasoline option. They also sell food inside like fried chicken and pizza. Overall a good place. I stop here often.”
“If you didn't know of this gas station you MUST BE A YANKEE! Located at the top of a rather steep hill on Abingdon Road, this place has changed hands at least 4 times but has always remained in business. The most current name for the store is actually Top of the Hill. The hours of operation are from 6am-8pm Mon-Thurs, Fri 6am-9pm, Sat 7am-9pm and they're closed on Sunday. They have a decent variety of things you can buy, from anti-freeze to large packages of Jenkins liver mush, if you can't find it here then it's no longer produced. The employees seem attentive and are very helpful. One such employee is Rose. Rose has worked at this store for many years now and is one of my favorite people to speak with! Their gas prices, at times, was a tad higher than in town as is a whole bunch if different items but they're the ABSOLUTE FINAL LAST STOP FOR gas, sodas, munchies, and many more items with the exception of any alcohol related beverages. That's only because they're outside of Lenoir city limits and can't sell it. Stop on in on the way up to or back down from Wilson Creek, and please y'all, give Rose a huge shout-out from me.”
“Stopped here to fuel up and noticed they had Hunts brothers pizza.. the guy cooking them talked to me while I waited on my pizza and he was right about one thing.. they have the best hunt's Bros pizza.. hands down.. and clean friendly store”
“This is the only store in town that is always nice..never leaves you sitting in line long.. carries the things I like. CLEAN and always open and closed when they say. Not leaving early or showing up late! Also isn't over run with the homeless! Thanks Jennifer and Michelle ( joey)! Y'all really have created a good welcoming and safe place to shop! My family and I really appreciate y'all!”

“I like getting my gas here and getting the five cents off. It’s pretty much the cheapest in town and I require premium in my BMW therefore I get it at the right price with the right quality here at the Shell local here right here in town.”
“Locally called "The Pop Shop" it's the modern replacement for a corner store. Snacks, soft drinks, MD 2020, energy pills, elevation tablets, glass accoutrements of dubious application, and scales to go with them. You've been weighed in the balance and found partying.”
“So I have been noticing for about the past 8 months that the store is looking amazing the coolers beer and drink cooler are always fully stocked and the shelves are cleaned the floors are super duper shiny clean the coffee area is clean there's no sticky crap everywhere like they used to be everything's wiped down it's just amazing how this much this store has changed in the past 8 months I think whoever is making this happen deserves a raise a big one and a bonus great job Teresa Moody keep up the good work.”
“Called in a prescription, automated voice mail said it would be ready 1 week later. I went to the store and Brennan got my Rx filled within the hour. This was an important Rx that I needed for sleep and this young man not only was able to get it filled early but also got me a price reduction that I desperately needed. Thank you Brennan, I hope you have a great new year.”
“I'm new to couponing and had a hard time but the young man at checkout went out of his way to help me get it all right.i don't know his name but it was lenoir nc.”
“Always have great service in pharmacy. They always put my Tricare coverage in as well as my other insurance. Only Walgreens that has done that for me without a big hassle. This is Debra Abbey.”
“I had visited this store many years ago because I live nearby and needed some gasoline or perhaps some kerosene, seems like a nice enough establishment to do business with, I stopped in last week in hopes they would have some fence nails because I was putting up a fence at the house and really didn't feel like driving all the way to Lowe's so I had my brother in-law call the store to verify if they might have the nails I needed and he spoke with someone there and they acknowledged that they did infact have the nails we were looking for plus a good assortment of other nails and various fasteners if we needed anything else too.
My brother in-law and myself got in the car and drove to the store but when we arrived and inquired about the nails we were pointed towards a mostly bare shelf with very little in the way of nails, there were an assortment of screws but not very many and certainly nothing we could use for the project at hand...so unfortunately we had to make the trip to Lowe's anyway.
You can take away from this review whatever you like but it didn't exactly work out as planned on this day for me”
