“I'm normally not big on leaving reviews. Which, I suppose is a bit hypocritical, being that I use them all the time, when feeling out a particular place/product that I'm thinking about checking out. So when I do leave them it's because either, something has gone terribly wrong or that there was an, above & beyond expectations scenario.
So I think I've been to this location, one other time, a few years ago. I'm assuming everything was fine, but nothing sticks out, one way or the other. Me experience in the store, this past Tuesday, however, was very much the opposite. Had nothing to do with the store itself, though. So pay attention, here, Speedway lol. I won't get into all the specifics (this review is already long winded enough, as is) but my situation was a perfect gauge for, sort of, establishing where, on a spectrum, representative of how great or not, an employee is. One where a customer could become quite a handful &/or an employee could very easily lose their cool. And if we're calling this situation, a test, well, Andre, passed with flying colors. He stood firm on store policy. And while there was clearly a boundary lined out, he was super cool, collected and respectful about it. In the end, he found a solution for me. Regardless, I would still be here, writing this review, because Andre honestly epitomizes what an idea employee looks like. Any and every business can only hope to luck into finding help like him. He's well spoken, polite, friendly and professional. I actually went out of my way, delaying my job, to turn around so I could run back in, to catch his name. I told him why & he seemed genuinely honored. The pleasure was all mine, brother. I was blown away when he told me he'd only been there a few days (4, if I recall correctly) because it def felt to me that he absolutely had that place and running it, on lock, as though he were a long term, seasoned employee.
I'm only in Concord once a month, but I'll def be stopping in there, if he's around. Hope to see him when I come back, which I believe, will be, Dec. 16th.
Bravo, Speedway,.you landed yourself a gem of an employee, by hiring Andre. I truly hope he'll get the praise he deserves, after they read my review. Do all you can to hang onto that one. Top shelf, for sure.”
“I don’t often frequent convenience stores, but when I do, I prefer 7-Eleven over other stores because they’re typically kept clean and the service is friendly. I also find that it seems easier to find what I need there than at the competition. Plus, they have a rewards program that seems to be more rewarding than others.
This particular location of 7-Eleven is my favorite. The staff is amazing! They’re always helpful, super friendly, and seem to really care about their customers. Tammy, Joyce & DJ is one of my favorite people. She's always up for a chat or for listening to a story. Nikki is an amazing Store leader and she’s never not looking to help. This store is clean and well-stocked, and the staff always seems to know just when I want a drink.”

I was literally able to get him everything and the extremely kind cashier listened while I vented for a moment. It's been a rough day, or two at this point, and I left far happier than when I arrived. Thanks for being awesome!”

“I am partial to 7-11 because I am 55 years old and from DC. So
I grew up with 7-11 a long time before Sheetz, Circle K, Kangaroo
and whoever else. Back in the 70's and early 80's 7-11 was a
lifesaver after coming from the club and skating rink.
A Pina Colada Slurpee and 2 chili Big Bite Hot dogs and a bag of UTZ Cheese popcorn made my night 4 reel cuzzo!!!!!
7-11 always had the fixings bar where you could load your
dog with onions, Kraut, chili, etc as much as you wanted.
7-Eleven is a champ in my book.
