“My baby had an ear infection and was in pain but of all the vets I called and I called over 70 - only 2 offered to help without charging me a ton! And Whiskers and Paws was one of those extra special clinics willing to help us. I’m a divorced single Mom of 4 putting myself thru school right now and most vets had the “money first” attitude. I was so angry and saddened by that. Poor doesn’t mean you don’t want great care for your fur babies or a handout. All we want is to care for our babies! Most vets wanted $200-$400 JUST to walk in the door! But not Whiskers & Paws… they gave me fair prices and they have walk in days (same price)! I didn’t use them but only because I got an earlier appointment elsewhere. But they have good prices and Karla was informative and helpful and super concerned! She didn’t treat me poorly just because i didn’t have tons of money! Thank you Whiskers and Paws and extra thanks to Karla! You were awesome! They are lucky to have you! And when I need vet care again for our Gator Boy I’ll definitely come here!”

“I love taking my dogs to this vet. We move to different states quite a bit for work. I will be so sad to leave this vet when it's time to move again. My dogs are my family and I want them to have the best treatment. The entire staff is very friendly (I've visited quite often after getting my puppy for the many rounds of vaccines) All three vets have been thorough with their communication and gentle with handling my pups. I can't say enough good things about them!”

“I just had a great experience. They also took care , helping me give Handsome Kitty all his vaccines, blood tests, and stool sample. Also got him flea, tick, and worm prevention in an all in one topical solution.We we all impressed with how Handsome did. He's a stray who has adopted me. He came with an eye issue, conjunctivitis from herpes, and a healed but awkwardly healed leg injury that gave him a permanent limp. Scabs all over his little body from bug bites. So, he also got antibiotic and steroid injections.He tested positive with Feline Immune deficiency, and Dr. Altman gave me printed information on how to care for him. Sweetest people ever, even the receptionists! I was able to get a cup of coffee from the Kurig machine in the waiting room with real cups! Class Act! Decorations are beautiful in the waiting area, too!All of this came to right at $300 and $10 off of the office visit. With 12 months to pay no interest through Care Credit. Making it quite affordable!I'll be taking my inherited Maltese dog here soon, too.”

I was nervous that Dr Condon was not in as I love Dr Condon and she is the only vet my dog Buster knows. Thank you Dr Rice and vet tech Debbie for patiently listening to me about Buster’s health concerns, asking questions (in between my tears) to gain a better understanding and being empathetic and compassionate as Buster is my world. Your ability to discuss tests results and next steps were timely and again communicated with empathy and compassion. Thank you!!!!!”

“This place was amazing Our dog star had a growth on her leg and the fantastic people of cabbarus spay and neuter were wonderful to me and our dog from start to finish. Not only did they do the procedure for a fraction of what our regular vet was going to charge they were over the top nice the doctor who performed the surgery gave me her email and responded in moments when we had a concern after stars surgery. 5 stars is not enough 10 stars for the entire staff”
