Foragers Canteen
42 Depot St, DillsboroStopped in at Forager's on our way to Asheville and was surprised to find this place busy at 3pm on a Monday. The restaurant had a great outdoor seating area and nice decor inside. But the food is what really shined. The goat burger and Brussels sprouts was delicious and the rest of our meals were amazing as well.

The Rivers and Rails Tavern
2 Dills St, DillsboroMy wife and I stopped in to get lunch. We had our dog with us so we sat outside. We were promptly greeted by our serve, ordered drinks, and were looking at the menu to find something our dog could eat. Our server said that she could have the kitchen grill a plain chicken breast for him. We ordered the chicken for our dog, and placed our food orders.
We ordered the pretzel appetizer to share, my wife ordered chili and I had the two chili dog meal. Everything was great and exactly as we ordered it. Our server was very attentive and very pleasant as well.
