“Love this place! I'm a longtime Durham resident and yet I'd never been in here until this past weekend. I was in a bit of a hurry and looking for a birthday-related book for a child. I didn't get her name, but a staff member with curly gray hair was SO kind and helpful in my search! She went all over the store looking for birthday related items and came back with the one I ended up purchasing (side note: the child LOVED it!).
I am an occupational therapist with a background in pediatrics and the types of toys in this store are all ones that are excellent for cognitive, fine/gross motor, and social-emotional development! There is nary a screen-based toy in sight and all of the books, toys, and items here appear to be carefully selected to foster creative play for kids of all ages.
They also have very cute (if a bit pricy) clothing from Magnetic Me in sizes up to 5T. All told, this is an amazing local gem that you'd be remiss not to visit!”

“It is a great place to visit. The aisles are labeled and easy to navigate between aisles. Check out was quick too and staff very helpful. Even when I needed assistance and one staff was about to go on break, she still took time to attend to me.”
“They closed all the other stores by me except this one and the one in the mall so this is my main GS now. One of the guys that works here is so nice and helpful. I wish I remembered his name. Really nice kid. Younger guy with glasses, Super helpful. Wish they had better pricing on pokemon cards but I get it.”

“Had a stupendous experience with Bricks & Minifigs of Durham! The store was amazing with all of the sets on the shelves and mini figures in cases to stare with awe. Very cool of the store to have Lego bricks in playful bins for kids to build anything their imaginations could let them. It’s very much like any Lego Store around!
Selling my sets to Demetrius was a great experience as he was very welcoming, excited, considerate, trustworthy, and fair!
