188 Claremont Dr, ElkinWe’ve had good experiences with Dr Brinegar and Dr Garing. Very thoughtful, kind, knowledgeable. The office is clean and comfortable, prices reasonable; I would definitely recommend them to friends or family.
The parking lot is sloped, tight for larger vehicles and it can be hard to turn around or get into some of the spaces. The front desk staff are professional although not necessarily friendly; It’s not uncommon to stand unacknowledged waiting at the desk for 10 minutes or more when one person is in front of you or no one is but generally they are knowledgeable, easy to get on the phone and are willing to find the answer to any questions you may have.
Prices are reasonable compared to other vet offices we have used in larger areas.

1111 N Bridge St, ElkinThis isn't what it looks like from the outside. Little dining rooms help keep people flowing. I preferred a friend chicken house salad. First the chicken just came out of the fryer it was so hot. Two, the salad was large and it had to have been 1/2 chicken on there. I dare say the very best garden salad I've ever eaten. Like so small town establishs everyone knows everyone, what the regulars like, they family, friends. Even the pick up laminate counter tops were worn through. It's very pleasant to be away from the impersonal dining world in the biggest cities.
We did notice to use the restroom you have to walk outside into the two bathrooms. Maybe an old gas station.
