“I love that this Ingles was right along my path with loads of convenient parking... and they had exactly what I went for! ? The checkout person was a young guy who was very friendly! Not my regular Ingles, but definitely a good one. ?”

“I love shopping here. But 2nd shift , they are a little loud and unprofessional there was this young girl working around closing and she would start talking to the young guy that works nights and we could literally hear her all the way to the back of the store! And was on her phone using her voice command texting ! Very inappropriate! It would be a fantastic store if some were a little more mature and professional!”

“As Floridians we were happy to find this Publix so convenient to us. Nicely laid out and well stocked. We usually go to Ingalls while in NC, but not this time. Just didn’t seem the same as in previous years. Thank you Publix for opening here. You need a larger parking lot though!”

“This location is temporarily closed due to hurricane Helene flooding. A temporary pharmacy has been set up on site to care for pharmacy customers. (Open Mon-Fri)
I have always enjoyed shopping here and look forward to their reopening. I'm confident they will be even better than ever.

UPDATE: The store has reopened June 2025! So happy to see all of the friendly faces. Now able to buy the products I love and can only find at Harris Teeter. Welcome back!”

“Food Lion has the best prices in this area when compared with other mainstream supermarkets. It is generally less expensive than Ingles, Publix, and Harris Teeter. I like the produce department. They have more choices in each category than some stores.”

“This is one of our go-to places for groceries. It's hit-or-miss if you're looking for something specific, but they really have good deals on a lot of things. Sometimes they get merch that you wouldn't see in other stores. Staff is friendly and helpful. Like every other store in that shopping center, it's overdue for a facelift. But that's on the landlord, not them. Good, solid local store. Recommended.”

“We picked up all our Thanksgiving fare from Food Matters and the mashed potatoes and stuffing were great. Wonderful apple pie and great quality steaks! All in all we cooked our whole Thanksgiving dinner in 10 min from Food Matters and it was PERFECT!”

“From the road I was excited to stop in- an indoor farmers market with local crafts- that sounds right up my alley! If I were local I would stop here for fresh produce and eggs, but for me they didn't have anything that jumped out at me. Some of the booths have antiques and vintage items, the quilts were fabulous and some of the wood crafts, I wish I had found something to splurge on!”

“I love this place! I buy all of my ramen here and the man who runs it is so very helpful and polite. He helps you when you're looking for something with experience suggestions. The prices are also amazing here.”

“Aldi is great. My husband and son wanted to go somewhere else because they thought that there would not be enough variety. They learned there was plenty and we save at least $50.”

“The employees at Ingles are wonderful, especially Peter who goes out of his way to make customers happy. He helped pick out the perfect avocados, green beans and tomatoes for my husband all while working hard. The prices are higher than we were experiencing in Florida but with such memorable service that's worth it. The staff at the registers is also always friendly.”

“We love shopping at Aldi's. No matter where you are you can usually find one and save Big Time on everything. We have never bought an item that wasn't good. Their meats are tender and delicious. We buy Chuck Roast (2 to 3lbs) and then I slice them up into steaks. They are so delicious over a charcoal grill. The Bacon wrapped Felit Steaks (2 per pack) are a can't miss also. You can't go wrong with Aldi's, and don't forget about the APP and you can order your groceries and just pick them up. It's so easy. We Highly Recommend Aldi's Grocery Stores.”

“So good! Eaten here twice and everyone in the place loved the food. Hostess helped with understanding the variety of dishes on menu. Can't say enough about variety and quality of the food. Small place but great food and fast service!”

“Only grocer in town which is truly a discount store. Aldi is more of upscale discount grocer, & Sav-Mor, let's face it, is priced the same as Ingles using the store card. Produce prices are routinely 50-75% less than the major chains, particularly Ingles. Many national brands are here all the time; some depts like pet food/supplies, wildly vary week-to-week. Canned food prices can't be beat. And since the pandemic, is the ONLY grocer to still have Coke products on sale for less than $10, @ $9.99/case. The regular store price of $12.49 is $1-3 cheaper, depending on where u go. Bathrooms may not be the cleanest- small price to pay to truly save some $ !!”

“Fletcher Pharmacy is always wonderful. Except one lady , I haven't seen her in a while. She's always having a bad day. But other than that. Everyone else is so sweet ,kind and so knowledgeable!!”

“Love going to get my groceries here, I even eat lunch here, they have pizza, subs, hot and cold food bars, chinese food, soups and salads, and sushi. It's easy to switch it up if you get bored with one food item.”

“Winding down the trail hungry like 5 mountain lions I see a clearing with lights. Having been through this region I knew it could only be 1 thing. I creep upon the edge of the black grass stratosphere of salt blocks and cinnamon chips I see the red lighthouse of hunger. I find my way through the gigantic metal carnivores, teaming with the lost dreams of bigger glory and a single life. As I get close there are signs I am in the rifhr place, one even said spam 50 cents a case, I hewr the bells ringing, the angels singing as I approach with caution and aspirations of grilled asparagus I see the holy gate, the entrance to this talisman of greatness. As i walk through the gates into the cave of many isles I immediately realize, I forgot the shopping list, the wife's gonna kill me..”

“I have used this pharmacy for past 10 yrs. These are the best anywhere. They try everyway to help. I recently switched my mom to them. The walgreens up the street was a nightmare.”

“Never been here before now. Prices are comparable to Food Lion and Harris Teeter but a little more selection. I really like the cheese area, second only to Trader Joe's in my opinion.”

“This Dollar General is by far the best in the area. It's clean very well organized and stocked well. It makes In-N-Out shopping a breeze! You can tell that the employees care.”

“Clean and tidy, has a good amount of workers especially for a Sunday. The store lacks in fresh options such as shaved been and ground turkey sausage. They are also always running out of low fat cottage cheese.”

“My what a difference a few years make. Totally remodeled, renovated, enlarged and a sophisticated delight. But the BIGGEST NEWS is the much discussed Friday Steak Night. We had heard so much about it we decided to give it a try. Our neighbor joined us and we had a delicious bone in rib eye steak dinner with salad, bread, baked potato and choice of beverage (coke products or tea). $12.98 for all that. There were attractive floral arrangements on each table; TRUE dinner utensils (metal, not plastic) with steak knives; real glasses (no styrofoam); china plates; and green to-go boxes. When you arrive at the store, go to the deli cash register and order the doneness of your steak and the dressing you prefer on your salad. Select your table and in just a jiffy, your salad is delivered by the waiter who takes your beverage order. Before you know it the entree and side is delivered. The waiter checks regularly to be sure everything is ok. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and this totally off the wall dining concept. I mean, a steak dinner in a grocery deli?? The steaks are the same for all customers but the selection changes each week: ribeye, sirloin, etc. If you don't like the choice of sides, you can substitute from the selections on the hot bar. A quick head count showed there were 14 people partaking of the steak dinner during the hour we were there. This is offered every Friday from 4-8 and reservations are NOT necessary. The ambience is NOT fine dining--bright fluorescence, canned music, people with grocery carts. But the steaks were tender, flavorful, and HUGE. We shall return!”
