“Miranda helped us and she was sweet as can be! Very helpful and patient because we didn't make a decision immediately. We did purchase a mattress eventually and are waiting for that delivery, which is only a 4 day wait! We have looked many local places for a bed, taking our time before making a decision on where to buy one at, and we had horrible experiences, except here. If you want customer service that doesn't push you into buying something but does answer all the questions you have without feeling like your annoying them, go see the friendly staff here.”

“I placed my order with Rob by phone. Which, on my part, took a few phone calls, but Rob was patient and answered all my questions and made suggestions to fit my needs. He handled the process of my purchase professionally, and with no pressure. Today, my mattress was delivered by Charlie and Brent, who did a great job removing my old mattress and setting up the new one. They were so friendly, conscientious, and accomodating, I just had to call the store and tell them how much I appreciated them. “Good-- but not overwhelming --selection. Manager (Wes) was quite knowledgeable about each product displayed, and eager to help me find the mattress that best fit my needs. Although listed as a "Clearance Outlet", there was not the feeling that these were 'seconds', or less than top quality. Was honest about the pros & cons of each mattress and of the overall reputation of each manufacturer. No 'hard sell' or pressure. Wes was always on the lookout for ways to 'sweeten the deal' for whatever product i might lean toward and was always personable & frank.”
“I can not say enough good things about this store!!! I came in the beginning of summer looking for a new living room suite, dining table and bedroom suite. After talking to Kelley, she informed me that I could work with an interior designer (keri)...FOR FREE and have professional guidance throughout the whole process. I have always wanted a designer to redo my home so this was the perfect opportunity. Kelley and I started going through different looks and Keri put the colors together beautifully. You literally walk into a whole design room and Keri has everything hung up on the wall...fabrics, textiles, rug choices....everything!!! It was so cool. I got to see everything on the screen put together before it was in my home. Reminding you again...for free!!!! It was incredible. Margaret came in a bit later and helped me with my custom drapes and blinds and they are gorgeous!!! Margaret was so helpful and kind...I could not ask for a better team to work with. Now, mind you, this took a while..at least all summer but it was so worth it! I am beyond happy with everything and for the first time in years I am happy in my home!!!
Kelley-you were so amazing and helpful. You listened to me and really found items that fit what I was looking for and pulled everything together to make the process easy!
Keri- you are a master designer! Your eye for color, textures and using the space to its full potential is amazing. I am beyond thrilled!

“We came in on on Saturday looking fotr a chaise/sofa and received excellent customer service. Found what we wanted, got to sit on a sample they had. Ordered and was delivered in just a few weeks. After a while, we noticed that the chaise was coming disconnected from the sofa. Tried everything. Called Tyson's, they ordered a new kit from Basset and are coming next week to fix it! The really expansive inventory helps in actually seeing and trying what you want!”
“James cut 3" off the legs of 4 solid cherry bar stools from bar height to kitchen counter height and also fixed a dresser drawer that wouldn't close. All was done quickly, inexpensively and with high quality. I'd have him work on furniture again anytime.”
“I will post more photos after I go back. Imagine the inside of the WNC farmers market building, but much larger with labeled sections. Each section has its own unique artist or vendor boasting furniture, collectibles, artwork, decor and much more. The space itself is vibrant and a perfect place to cool off from the heat to walk around. This is definitely the place to look for non-traditional items to funkify your interior design. For reference, I am a mustard yellow rug, green velvet chair with a lava lamp kinda vibe. They also have elegant, classier items too. There's no inventory list online, you just have to go see yourself!”

Staff is very helpful and selection has recently been expanded due to a recent expansion of the store. Quality is great. We have purchased furniture there on three separate occasions and have always had a good experience. ”

“I have a antique wooden box with some delicate brass inlay and where one end of a couple of the pieces had come loose during dusting. I called Rick on a Saturday afternoon and he had me bring it into his Black Mountain shop/showroom. I left it planning to pick it up the following weekend, but he called me on Sunday morning saying that the job was done. The repair was indistinguishable from the remainder of the pieces and his fee was very fair. I would highly recommend.”

“Absolutely Love Miller's Crossing!! We found this Amazing Antique Bedframe for my 20yr old daughter!! The ? doesn't do it justice because you can't really see the Beautiful Patina in places. Also Bernard, the owner is Wonderful, Knowledgeable, Helpful and I love how he radiates his "Enthusiasm and Love" for what he does. Definitely worth a stop!!!”
“I think I was in targets more on this trip than I have been in the last 2 years. If I'm being honest I wasn't shopping for myself. I'm traveling with my kids and because of food allergies and such Target tends to carry things that they can have while other stores do not. It was fairly early in the day and we wandered in to see if they could find something to eat along with visiting some of the other departments. I actually found a couple of items that would probably make decent gifts for some people back home.They were able to find just what they were looking for. I on the other hand wasn't able to find anything really useful for myself. Still it was a pretty nice store and employees came across as very friendly.”
