“Lance was my salesperson. I was looking for a small sectional couch that could also be used for sleeping. He showed me a variety of options and even pointed out the plusses and minuses of the various choices. I took pictures and went home to make a decision which was easy to do because I had all the info. I was never pressured and felt comfortable about my choice. I also bought a chair because the financing is great....better than anything I have encountered at any other store. I would highly recommend Lance as a salesperson for his patience and expertise.”

“Fantastic store. We stopped by on a trip to the mountains. It was unlike most antique stores we have been in. Everything was well presented and they had various things for every interest. I thought the prices were great. Staff were beyond friendly, and they had a coffee shop connected to it, what!? Can't wait to return on our next trip.”

“This past weekend, we were in Montreat, NC, just outside of Asheville attending a church retreat at Assembly Inn in Montreat.I stopped again at the Ten Thousand Villages shop across the street below Lake Susan.The shop works with artisans and craftspersons from around the world and provides markets for them to sell their handy work to the world. The shop features jewelry, pottery, linen work, wood-working items, and much more. They have wind catchers, leather bound journaling books, glasswork, and much more, including coffee. The coffee is either ground, or still in bean form to suit your tastates. They have scarves, bags, placemats, coffee cups, and much more.I picked up a beautiful leather bound journaling book and a couple of other items. If you are in the Asheville area, make sure to stop in Montreat, NC and provide a living wage to an artisan from around the world.”

“Beautiful furniture made by Amish craftsmen. Have to wait for furniture to be made, but worth it to get exactly what what you want. Staff is very helpful and selection has recently been expanded due to a recent expansion of the store. Quality is great. We have purchased furniture there on three separate occasions and have always had a good experience. ”

“I had never been in a Hobby Lobby until last week. We stopped-in to get some popsicle sticks for a school project for our son. I had no idea how much stuff they had for everything from arts and crafts to home decorating. Honestly, I was stunned.We saw that they had a sell going and decided to get a clock and and a painted for a room that we have in the basement. Their prices are great and you really can't beat their selection.”

“Loved the store and all the unique items. My reason for only four stars is the fact that when I brought my new king quilt home, I’d thought I had purchased something fairly local. I was a bit taken aback with the “made in china” label. Also, one of the shams had a stain that I did point out to the salesperson. She basically shrugged. Best she could do was 10%. I had no choice if I wanted the quilt since it was the only king left in that pattern. Bottom line, loved the unique items, but now I’m not sure what was considered “local” vs manufactured overseas.”

“Cool antique shop off of Swannanoa River road. They have a good variety of items, some of which can be pricey (but still worth the value). Definitely a place to check out of your into antiques.”

“Sales Person, was personable, knowledgable and friendly. The choices were plentiful and and noway did we feel pressure to buy. We researched before we got htere so we were pretty sure we were goign to but, but his presentation sinched and he was honest and did not try to upsell us to at level we did not need!”

“The staff and the manager Cody were exceptionally helpful. My boyfriend and I picked out a floor dining table and chairs. They helped us through the entire process without pushing us into anything. They helped find the addl chair cushions and chair. Cody helped us sign up for the membership plan to get the most savings. So much better than the big box stores. Highly recommend them.”

As soon as you walk into their space you can see their stock has been carefully curated and pieces are at their best! Prices are very reasonable, as well!
