About Budget Car Rental
Budget Car Rental in Asheville, NC, offers a generally positive experience for customers. Many reviews highlight the friendly and helpful staff, particularly mentioning a representative named Cedric, who provided exceptional service by accommodating customers with upgraded vehicles, like a Jeep Grand Cherokee hybrid, when their original booking was unavailable. Customers appreciated his recommendations for local restaurants, enhancing their trip.
The booking process is noted to be easy and efficient, whether done online or in person. Some customers had pleasant surprises with their vehicle choices, such as receiving a Mustang convertible for the price of a smaller sedan. While most experiences with the staff were commendable, there were a few complaints regarding the cleanliness of the cars, indicating that not all vehicles met expectations in terms of cleanliness.
Overall, Budget Car Rental is recognized for its competitive pricing, particularly with the "mystery car" option, and friendly service, making it a preferred choice for travelers in Asheville. However, attention to vehicle cleanliness is an area for improvement.

Budget overcharged me for fuel, however they were responsive to my complaint and refunded me. For this, I changed my 2-star rating to 4 stars. I suggest they train their staff on the fuel purchase option.

Car itself was ok. It was not the car or similar to the one reserved. Worst part is the slow lines and 1-2 understaffed employees every time with 25-50 people in the only line. No separate lines for reservations or self checking in.
They need to work on this.

5 stars for David. He kept the line moving quickly! Very professional helped me get a more suitable car for my needs. Budget had the smallest lineup.
4 stars because of the construction and all the car companies piled up in top of each other I wasn’t sure where the budget line even started.
