“Worley Automotive is the BEST automotive shop in the area! I have the story to prove it....
The day before I was supposed to leave on a vacation to Belize my car's "All Wheel Drive" (AWD) light came on. I knew I had to get this checked before driving to the Charlotte Airport, so I began calling different shops, and A&D Garage had an opening that day. After a 2-hour wait I was told that my car's differential was completely shot, new parts needed to be ordered, and it was unsafe to drive home. For context- I'm a recent college graduate with no car knowledge- but even I knew this wasn't right. I asked for my keys, drove home and was later given a quote of $2,800 dollars to "fix" the issue. A total SCAM!
This is where the story takes a happy turn :) I live just down the street from Worley Automotive and after their incredible service I will be a lifelong customer. Worley Automotive not only properly diagnosed my car but they picked it up from my apartment and fixed it while I was on vacation. That way it would be ready by the time I got back! If that's not the most exceptional customer service I don't know what is. In addition to being incredibly kind, Dennis and the rest of the staff are extremely experienced and transparent- which is a rare find in the automotive industry. Unlike A&D Garage, Dennis had the knowledge, expertise and integrity to assess and fix my car. The total was $350. I truly can't thank them enough! If you live anywhere near the area you will never find a more trustworthy place to take your car than Worley Automotive.

“First I went in and got a quote. I went home and compared it with my dealership. It was lower by a good amount. I then went by and scheduled an appointment for the front brake job. I was told to expect to wait 2 hours. Next day took my vehicle to the shop. I was there only 1 hour. The job was done. And the invoice was less than the quote. Very pleased.”

“After a remarkably poor experience with Valvoline in Arden, NC failing to tighten my fleet vehicle’s oil filter resulting in major staining to our new driveway, I had enough. I stopped by North Main Automotive to see the owner and speak with Heidi in the service department. These folks are wonderful. She took quite a bit of time going above and beyond to get registered as a vendor for our fleet management company. The end result is I was able to make an appointment just 2 days later to come back and have a new set of tires and oil change completed before a 1000 mile work trip. “Ordered new tires for my pickup truck online and had one of the better tire install experiences since the last I could remember. I dropped the truck off at my scheduled appointment time and they finished within an hour.
What really set the service apart was when I picked the truck up - the rep I spoke with, Jeff explained how they reprogrammed the tpms system since my larger than stock tires on my pickup run lower than normal pressure. He also explained how he placed a sticker on the door jamb showing the ideal pressure. This was above and beyond service. Upon inspecting my tires I was happy to see that they had no issues (scuffing, scratched rims, etc).

“I called late Thursday evening hoping to get a wheel alignment before driving from Asheville to Ohio for the holiday. The lady who answered was very nice, but explained that she had been told not to book any more jobs prior to the holiday. I could hear in her voice that she wanted to help me. She offered to have me leave the car for a full day Friday, but I could not do that because it is my only transportation. I told her I could show up at sunrise if she could help me. She went to the boss and advocated for me and then told me to be there Friday morning at 8:00.
I arrived at 7:47 am and the door was open. The gentlemen who helped me was expecting me. By 8:10 am they had me on the alignment rack.
I read the negative reviews below and it does not sound like the same place. These people are nice, friendly, helpful, and prompt with a family environment. I was referred here by another tire store who said the alignment technician here was the guru of wheel alignments.

Had an issue on two separate occasions getting tires put on at Walmart because lug nuts were "too tight" ... these guys had me in and out in less than 30 min, and they were very reasonably priced. Also super friendly and helpful. Super satisfied with my experience. Highly recommend.”

“We were coming from Elizabeth city to Brevard today for camp. Our church bus blew an inside rear tire. We called and they said it might be three hours, and we told them that’s fine but if they could come sooner, we had 19 kids and we were trying to get to camp. They showed up in 20 minutes and in less than an hour we had a new tire back on and the other five tires checked. Greg was there roadside assistance man and he did a great job.”
