“I am new to Asheville and didn’t have a tire/auto repair shop. Well I do now! I drove into Jan’s this morning around 11:00 instead of Fir&st*ne and glad I did ! I had a nail in my tire and they were kind enough to get me in immediately while I was there and made the repairs. As it was, I am in need of new tires. So Rich quoted 4 sets of tires and even took me back to look at each and explained the tire tread on each set !!

“While Traveling back home to Garner (outside Raleigh)from Bryson City our battery light came on. I Immediately called my mechanic who told me to find an autozone and have the alternator tested. We got to the Auto zone and it was a bad Alternator our Mechanic advised us that we needed to replace it immediately and to find a local shop. So I asked for a referral from autozone, And they recommended mountain view. Which was right down the street walking distance as my van was acting Possessed and lost complete power as we coasted in the parking lot in front of a bay. The fit us in timely and Wayne even drove to the honda dealership as I only wanted to use honda parts. You can imagine how stressed I was about this whole situation and the unexpected cost I had not plan on spending. But Mountain view was professional and Courteous to me in a very stressful situation. They were done in about 3 hours or less we actually got an uber to go explore the outlets to take our mind off of it while they were working on it. But I want to thank Mountain view for saving our day and getting us home safely. I don't think I said thank you but THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for saving the day! I highly recommend this shop.”

“I take my car to Mike Byer auto because I know they will check filters and all fluids. most oil change places just change your oil and don't check anything else. I have an old Honda Element that had a belt about to break..If I hadn't taken in there for my oil change, I would have ended up on the side of the road. I took my car to 2 other auto places to fix the air..I wasted money because they didn't fix problem. Mike Byer Auto fixed it right away.They are honest and reasonable!”

“We were coming from Elizabeth city to Brevard today for camp. Our church bus blew an inside rear tire. We called and they said it might be three hours, and we told them that’s fine but if they could come sooner, we had 19 kids and we were trying to get to camp. They showed up in 20 minutes and in less than an hour we had a new tire back on and the other five tires checked. Greg was there roadside assistance man and he did a great job.”
“I had a nasty screw in the rear driver side tire, on the top of the tire, so still useable if patched. Got it the day before, inflated it to get to the house, and in the morning had to drive to a tire shop. Found Diaz Tire Shop and saw that it opened relatively early at 830 am. Found a man there sweeping the inside of the business. He was already open. I'm not sure if he was the owner, and didn't get his name. But after a few minutes, he lifted the car, got the tire out, examined it, brought it out to let me know he didn't see interior damage (since it had been driven with low PSI at some point before we had discovered the nail), and said he could repair it. He repaired it in 15 minutes or so, and then put it back on. I was done relatively quickly, maybe in 45 mins overall. The price was decent. I was very thankful to be back on the road with a working tire. Thank you Diaz Tire Shop!”
“Woke up on a Saturday morning to a flat. My normal tire shop isn’t open on weekends so I stopped by here.
As soon as I rolled my tire up to the shop one of the staff greeted me, then made sure the leak was in a spot that could be patched, then gave the tire to a tech to repair. Maybe 10 to 15 min they gave me back the repaired tire and explained what did.
Nice staff and easy to deal with.”
“I was early to my appointment, and they got me in quickly and done ahead of schedule. The cabin air filter was shown to me in the waiting room so that I could authorize it being changed. It was not only scheduled time to change it but it was very dirty.”

“These are the guys to go to! Super awesome people. They have helped me with all of my wheel and tire needs since I have been in the area. Always do as they say and come through when I need them. Recently noticed an issue with a bill of mine from months ago. I pointed it out to a service writer the next time I stopped in. He recognized it as a mistake and apologized for the error on their part. They went out of their way to do what is correct and fixed the issue even months after the issue happened. That is rare in today's society. Thank you guys very much!!!!”

Had an issue on two separate occasions getting tires put on at Walmart because lug nuts were "too tight" ... these guys had me in and out in less than 30 min, and they were very reasonably priced. I brought in a motorcycle for a NC state inspection -- as far as I can tell there is only one other independent shop around that offers this, and it is a ways outside of downtown, and motorcycle service centers generally take much longer because you get put into a service queue. Here I pulled in, and the gentleman took a quick 15 minutes of his time to take care of me and my bike.”
