“Both I and a friend have used this shop for years when we don't have time to fix ourselves. Fair pricing (car repair isn't cheap), never had a problem with repair. Never had them try to make absurd claims about the problem, as is sadly common in auto repair. Friendly/helpful staff. They do a lot of different repairs, not just brakes and exhaust...put a rear axle in my car, shipped to them by a seller. Because they are good, they are usually very busy...check in advance.Take the 1-star reviewer with a grain of salt: having a brother and father who were career mechanics, and having done my own brakes for decades, I have never in my life heard of a wheel bearing being broken by a brake job, and can't imagine how that could happen, as the wheel bearing is inside the axle and has nothing to do with the brakes (they are sealed and away from brakes). MOST likely, this guy had huge brake noises from not replacing his brakes for too long, and so didn't hear the bearing going bad (make a racket...loud roaring noise when really bad). It is clear from his review in total that he knows nothing about cars, and is blaming a shop for something they clearly did not break. Yes, depending on the car, how many miles you drive a year and how you drive (most of you, like maniacs), you may need to have the rotors turned every year. I have had 3 of the same make/model car in my life, and the rotors warped every year until i replaced the rotors with "severe duty" rotors...now, 4 years, no need to turn them. Also, a tip: when getting a car repaired, get an estimate, then tell them to call you if it will be more. Never used a shop who didn't honor this agreement.”

“Recently went here for the first time for 4 tires/alignment. You can bring your own new tires. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. Everyone greets you kindly, & the price wasn’t bad at all! WAY cheaper than a dealer. I knew My alignment was so bad, but the mechanic actually suggested fixing something that’s making it worse- and no one else has brought this up. I even went to a different shop not even a month ago for an inspection and they didn’t notice it. But the mechanic recommended and researched the issue he found, researched where to find the parts because it’s a rare issue. I feel like he went out of his way to do this and I believe it’s to keep the integrity of his work, plus maybe the shop shoots for perfect alignments! All I know is, they did a great job, and had plenty of customers come and sit down just to chat that day. To me, that proves a trustworthy shop. Thanks for your service guys!!”

“10/10 would recommend for mechanical issues. We were leaving to head back home (300+ miles away) when we noticed our car was pouring oil. Our insurance company called us a tow driver (Red from Asheville Wrecking also 10/10!) and dropped us here. It was Memorial Day so we were sure they wouldn't get around to even being able to look at it that day. But they did and they even got it fixed and us back on the road that evening! Also it being a holiday, getting an Uber was impossible so they sent their shuttle driver to pick us and he was such a nice man too! Especially since we were his last pickup of the day and he chose to stay later to do it. Judy was amazing and we're so thankful to her and the whole staff! Mechanic work is never cheap but considering it was a holiday and they got it out within 4 or 5 hours, I'd say it was exceptionally priced!”

“My wife's Audi Q7 threw a engine light and started making a grumble on acceleration. Audi dealer couldn't see us for a week and another local repair shop that won't touch Audis recommended Mike Byers. Called and receptionist was encouraging and asked us to swing by, they'd check the code, and let us know if they could do the work. My wife stopped by today and Mike did a quick diagnosis on the code, called and spoke with me found out I had changed the plugs 2 weeks ago and then figured out one of the electeonic injection connectors was not totally seated. Took care of it, cleared the code and also noted the need to ads some air to the tires. Did it all quickly for a fair price and my wife said when I screw it up again, we have now found our new mechanic. Thank you to your awesome team. We'll be back!!!”
