“My wife bought a 13-pound brisket from the South Commissary for $134 for me to cook for a company party. Unfortunately, the bagger never loaded it into her car. Mistakes happen, especially since my wife was using self-checkout and the bagger wasn't the one who loaded the cart at the register. My wife recently had surgery and was struggling, so the bagger kindly offered to help load the groceries.
We didn't realize the brisket was missing until about an hour later when she got home. She returned to the commissary, and the brisket was still sitting in the cart in the sun. Because the cold chain had been broken, the staff understandably couldn't give it back to her for food safety reasons. Instead, they promptly issued a full refund. She was then able to purchase a 23-pound brisket for only $114.
While the original mistake was unfortunate, the manager and staff at the South Commissary handled the situation professionally, courteously, and with excellent customer service. Their willingness to make things right deserves recognition. Five stars to the manager and staff at the South Commissary!”
“Sprouts is a good store but it's customer service is slipping. I returned moldy mandarins and got a stone-cold stare from the associate. No apology, no thank you, nothing. I hope Sprouts trains its associates in better customer service. It really matters.”

“Let’s talk about this Cookie Butter Cake!!! I am so happy with my order, the cake is absolutely delicious and moist! Those cookie butter layers and whipped frosting are sumptuous and oh so luscious. I’ve had this same cake before months ago but there was some extra love put into this one to make me post this review!!! Don’t walk, run to Publix and place your order! Thank you for satisfying my cookie butter cravings!”
“Excellent Customer Service, I didn't know my BJ'S Card needed 2 but renewed when I was trying 2 get gas it kept declining my transaction. So i when 2 the windows 2 tell the lady that something was wrong bc it kept declining my debit card bc I knew I had money in my account. So she went and check with her BJ'S Card and told me 2 use my Debit Card and what do u know it wasn't my debit card it was my daughter BJ'S acct card.It had expired, Thank God she let me go ahead and get my gas.Praise God 4 her.TY”

“Clean, friendly staff, I feel welcomed when I walk in, if you plan on shopping there often make sure you sign up for rewards, they also have a military discount. Side note, this isn't walmart, its really a step above, they're not cheap but also the quality is there, I'll be back.”
“Clean inside. Nice selection of products.. Name brands as well as never heard of brand but they were good products. Got some chocolates from Germany. The chocolate was real. Not the plastic chocolate we eat in America. Bought the shrimp platter. It was fresh and delicious. Don't understand the quarter for a shopping cart thing however”
“Started shopping at Aldi's about 6 months ago and every visit has been a significant savings and every product purchased better quality than where I use to shop, also like the twice as nice guarantee on many of the foods sold at Aldi's no reason for using it yet and doubt I ever will.”
“Love all the Food Lion's.I love there Chicken Salad and Tuna Salad in the Deli Dept.Plus i always get the 1 gal tube of Rainbow Sherbert ummm yummmmmyyyyy. “Nice place to shop. Of course it isn't as big as Walmart but it's a lot cleaner and the employees seem very knowledgeable about the store. The prices are a bit higher but the store makes up for it because of that.”
“Great customer service as I always see smiles and appreciate the dedication that is given to their store. If there is a product missing or something you would like they try their best to have in stock. When the store is about to close, they make sure that within the few last minutes we can purchase what we needed to the last closing hour. It’s very hard for me and my spouse to travel to the store, but when we get there, it’s worth the time and headache for our travel to and from.”

“Talleywood is an old shopping center that has been completely renovated/reconstructed. Publix is the anchor with suites including an upscale nail salon and Crumble's Cookie Store. A brand new MiCasita being built as an outparcel. Great location on Raeford Rd with easy access to All-Americian freeway, Robeson St to Downtown and MLK business loop and easy access to Owen Dr and Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.”
“We've been gone for 15 years, California Ralph's, Albertsons NO More. Now, Food Lion is just around my newly purchased home. When I first arrived in 1995, I could not remember the name. I used to call it Lion King. Lol. My son and I are back, Food Lion, Harris Teater, Piggly Wiggly, and Base Commisary we are back.
Update. 12/1/24. Two months now, and this food lion is by far our favorite. Customer service is phenomenal. Cece, Crystal, Jessee, OTHERS, and even my Grocery connection Russel dog on never had I been to a grocery store with outstanding customer service.
Soon, very soon, I open My Barber on Yadkin, so I won't be coming here as often, but this is still our grocery store.
In closing, food market close to home for a single Dad. Check
If you need a Military haircut at a better price then it's us.

My ONLY reason for giving a 4 star was my personal dislike of hearing a conversation between employees referencing nothing about work, it was all personal information I didn't care to hear, so while I'm in the SELF CHECKOUT register, I had to say, excuse me, I need assistance, two young ladies came to me, I explained i wasn't sure how to do two methods of payment, I quickly received a reply of, you should have gone to a full service register. What?Really? Where is this posted? What are you doing besides blatting about things not associated with work? The employees overlooking the self checkout register should be focused on what's going on with work and not outside of work.

“Dropped in today to try to find a cake for my husbands very last minute dinner tonight. The lady in the bakery, I think her name was Julissa, was amazing. She offered to help me get the exact cake that I wanted with the design I was hoping for and everything. I was planning on just grabbing one off the shelf (which was fully stocked as well) but she completely blew me away with how quickly she was to step in and help me with something more personalized. All under 30 minutes as well! Words cannot express how thankful I am for her actions and kind words. We definitely need more people like her in the world!”
