“Love the mill, I've been going here for a few years. Love their hot coffees and chai teas, and they almost always have some pastries on hand. Great beer selection, and even better service! Food trucks tend to be outside on weekends as well as live music. My more recent visits I have noticed there have been cool mystery books you can purchase. They are wrapped and have an overall description of the book where the cover is, I thought that was cool and will definitely get one next time.”

While it is smaller compared to other play places, it’s much more affordable, it’s great for littler kids like mine, and the staff was super friendly!My baby doesn’t walk yet and there’s still so much for her to do! There’s stuff for bigger kiddos too so if you have siblings where one is maybe running and jumping around but also have one who is only crawling, 100% go here!If you’re looking for cons, I guess the only one is that it’s smaller compared to other places so less room to physically run, but to be honest, it’s a great place.”

The PeopleWe toured the venue with Kathi Morris. When reflecting back on the tour we felt that Kathi was genuinely invested in her couples and making the day exactly what they envision. We worked with Kathi and Maglen frequently leading up to our big day. They were both very responsive, helpful, supportive, and a pleasure to work with.I'd highly recommend connecting with their suggested vendors. We selected a suggested photographer, K Star's Photography and a suggested DJ, Epic DJ Entertainment (Apex). Our DJ ended up referring our officiant who absolutely nailed our ceremony, Ingrid Sagula We felt like we were surrounded by sincere people that were truly motivated to make our day the best it could be!2. The LocationMorris Peaceland Farm is extremely convenient to downtown Raleigh and Cary but it feels like you're removed from all the city hustle and bustle. It's like you're in a secret garden tucked away. The road is set away from the venue. You don't have cars flying by, sirens every ten minutes, etc. It's beautiful during the day and at night. We had our ceremony at the dock which we loved! There are many different spots for beautiful photos. Our guests loved walking around the venue taking in all the outdoor splendor! We received many compliments from our guests regarding the venue and how beautiful it was!In addition to the amazing people and gorgeous location:-They have a huge inventory of items you can use which includes various tables, design items, easels, etc.-We didn't have to rent chairs, tables, or linen as it came with booking the venue!-They have a calligrapher which we utilized heavily for our table assignments, various mirrors, and frames. Every single item was exactly what we requested.We would highly recommend having your wedding or any event at Morris Peaceland Farm!”

Unfortunately despite its newness, the rooms are showing a little bit of wear, but it’s clear to see that the management takes cleanliness seriously.The one or two minor issues we found, the staff was helpful and courteous in helping us resolve them.Rooms: Roomy units with a larger than usual kitchenette.”

“Driving range mats need to be replaced. The course is narrow, with lots of drainage ditches running parallel. Can be mucky during the rainy season on a few holes. The greens are generally a good speed and true. Nice friendly staff.One slow group can create a traffic jam. Very walkable course.”
