“Honestly, I've never been a fan of Food Lion in general. However, my experience today may have changed my mind. From the moment I started shopping, the staff was friendly and attentive to anything I needed and questions I had. I don't remember if the store ever had a wine section in the past, but this one did. Thanks Food Lion for what felt like a step up in the right direction.”

“Good deals can be found here on organic, healthy items. It’s hit or miss, but I’ve really appreciated the savings. My only issue is there’s a lot of stuff that isn’t good for me, so I have to be in a strong mood, and stay off the junk aisles. ? For instance, they sell Cozy Shack puddings at 1/3 the price. That one is hard to pass by! And chips galore and candy…
They often have pasta made in Italy and canned tomatoes of a good brand and I’ve found organic there. Also have found healthy items at discount prices in the frozen section.
If you like frozen pizza this is the place to buy it. Occasionally the ‘healthier’ brands are here, too.
Expiration dates or ‘best by dates’ are worth checking but they’re not a deal breaker for me if I’m planning to eat it.

“i have been using curbside pickup for about 3 months. i have a friend or neighbor pick up my order for me and drop it at my house. the system works great!! all the staff are very accommodating. i highly recommend it.”

“Clean, neat, well organized stores. All of them. They carry a large variety of brands and many organic items. I’m partial to the store on Asheville Highway in Hendersonville because they have THE best employees.”
“I live right next to this place and I visit so often that a couple of the workers recognize me! They are all so sweet and hard working and make my day every time I stop by. They are stocked on everything I need to buy besides produce. Sometimes the company seems to understaff the establishment, so if a worker isn’t at the counter give them patience bc they are doing their best!”

“They're not a restaurant, and they're not vegan. They're a typical small town health food store. They have a small amount of bulk food and fresh food items. They could improve by having more bulk food and fresh food, but they don't have much space. I'm a bit pissed because I can give them 5 stars, but I can't give Goldfinch 5 stars, although Goldfinch is more vegan forward. I'd also give Cousins 5 stars if I could.”
“I had a FedEx package that was dropped off here. Not the closest location so I was quite a trek for me.The first day, they said there was nobody to sign so it would have to be brought back. The next day it was confirmed it was available for pick up. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at the parking lot was huge, and the store was very clean. Somebody greeted me immediately. She was helping another customer out but she was an absolute delight. She said she was about to call me to let me know my package was there. Excellent customer service. The store itself was one of the larger dollar generals, and had a lot of stuff on the shelves. A little disheveled, but cleaner than most.”
“Very small store with a decent selection. Automotive service is good but there's normally nobody out front. If you can't find anyone, they're probably in or around the shop on the left side of the building.”

“Everyone says Don is such a friendly guy and it's so great in these reviews I think he must have wrote them anyway the little punk tells me last night that district manager has banned me I've not been brought on any charges never informed of why long story short I'm a service veteran I walk everywhere not cuz I'm homeless or broke because I choose to I have a service companion her name is Scout I had to honor of serving beside her for 6 years in Israel unexploded ordinance division she sniffed out explosive materials saved countless lives she did now I've been banned meaning have no access to food for her it's the only place I can walk to within reason so animal lovers cuz I know I can't get any compassion a disabled service veteran doesn't mean anything to people but a dog does express your concerns to this store please thank you dog loving Nation done play some more reviews about yourself oh and district manager to this store is Amanda Pope if anybody would like to contact her stuck on herself Dyke”
