They're being cheap. The top $15 wash only gives 1 round of soap, the 2nd pass is empty with no soap coming out. Wasn't like that last month.”

He's a really great guy and he will really go out of his way to help you in any way possible. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get gas and don't forget to go in and say hi to Andy and buy you a drink or a snack while you are there!”

“From Jessica over the phone and in person at the office, to Ron the Tech installing my tank and fireplace logs. I had an awesome beginning to end experience with their customer service. Polite and professional, and Ron took time to explain how things work along with a few tips. They called me a day ahead and even took their boots off at the door without asking. I highly recommend Payne Oil company.”
“My favorite gas station in the area. The staff are always super nice and friendly. Five stars! The prices for fuel and diesel are always way cheaper then towards Chapel Hill/ Carrboro. It’s always super clean outside and inside the store. Plus Shell sends me lots of rewards for being a member of the fuel rewards. Like 10 cents off each gallon here and there.

“Clean and lots of snacks to choose from. Just check your dates. Hubby bought chip outdated and didn't know it. He said taste was tangy, was hint of lime so thought that was why. I looked at date June 23 this was July 14th. Will stop again if travel through again, very convenient to 85”

“Wonderful staff with a great attitude and sense of humor. Lady in front of me was just giving them hell over a lottery scratch off. They all kept there composer, I would have strangled her! I do wish the gas pumps were a little faster it takes forever to fill your tank.”
“I've been having to drive to this area a lot the last few weeks. I've stopped there twice now, wants to get gas and everything went great and the price was competitive with anyone else around. The other time I stopped so I could just sit in their parking lot for a few minutes and look something up. It took longer than I thought it would, and after a bit, a worker came out to really politely check on me. She said she and another co-worker had been watching to make sure I was okay, and that it didn't look like I was moving for a significant amount of time. You know, I had my head down staring at my phone, so I'm sure it looked bad from their angle. I told them I was thankful for them and to God bless them for the fact they cared enough to keep an eye on strangers. They really were so polite and so relieved and genuinely sweet to see what was really going on and that I was safe. Inside the place, outside the place, and the workers themselves, it's a genuinely good experience and I'm happy to stop there during my daily commute now when I need to. Thank you.”
