It’s clear they’re there because they genuinely care about animals, not just for a paycheck. While the prices are a bit higher than what you might find online, I love supporting local businesses—especially one that helps rehome animals. They also carry a much better selection of healthy food brands for both cats and dogs compared to typical pet stores. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I was able to find the majority of what I needed. It was definitely a great experience. The young men working were extremely helpful. Unfortunately nowadays it seems like young people don't value work and their attitudes show HOWEVER that was not the case at All pets considered!! Thanks again!! And if I'm in that area again and need bun supplies I will definitely stop.

Forever Country Puppies
2300 Soabar St Ste 36215, GreensboroI was looking for a young miniature poodle. I was not having much success but came across Forever Country Puppies (FCP). The pictures were so cute! I have had poodles in my life since I was a kid. They are fun and very intelligent. They make you laugh and love being loved. I saw Dee's picture and knew immediately she was the pup for me. She was 5 months old, which was a little young, but since I am retired, I knew I would have the time to be with her. So, I inquired about her and found she was available. Ashlynn of FCP was very helpful and answered my questions. I found out that Dee comes from a solid line of poodles that have good health and long lives. I was also told Dee loved to cuddle, though a bit shy at first. She is a bit shy of new people but the week I have had her she is not shy with me, loves to cuddle, is curious and rambunctious. She is learning so fast. During the week, her nose has kicked in and she has been all over our yard, sticking her nose in holes made by chipmunks, has checked out the leaf piles, learned that the lariope next to my patio can be run through and learned to play ball. She even brings it back...sometimes. She is a hoot. She is a great pup and I know she will be a phenomenal buddy for a long time. After I had agreed to acquire Dee, Ashlynn took her to her vet, had her wormed and given a rabies shot. When Dee was delivered, to my home(!) Ashlynn brought treats, toys, blankets and food to get me started with Dee. It was above and beyond what I had expected. Thanks for raising such a healthy, happy, wonderful companion! I will be sure to recommend Ashlynn and FCP to anyone who wants a wonderful, long lived companion.

4113 Spring Garden St, GreensboroDr Chappell took care of both of my cats. With my last one, Mabry, she got sick and needed special care with feeding tubes and IV's for hydration. He went above and beyond. He worked after hours and stayed with her and kept me updated the whole time. Him and his staff kept her comfortable and monitored. Unfortunately, due to unavoidable organ failure, she passed away but I was able to be with her and be 100 percent confident that all efforts had been exhausted to try and help. His staff and Dr. Chappell were great and overly accomodating with the entire process. They volunteered to do far more than many other vets would ever consider doing to try to help. 2 weeks after her passing, they sent me a print of her nose and her paws. I never expected such a sweet gift but I know where my future pets will always be for their care.

5002 High Point Rd, GreensboroThis is such a great practice!! I volunteer with a cat rescue group and like going here so much that I use them for my personal cats too! The vets are very knowledgeable and caring. They are not looking to do a money grab like some of the local vets prescribing tests and medications that are not really needed. The techs are so good handling the cats....even the spicy & cranky ones!! They never get angry and are always soft spoken with the cats. They are also extremely compassionate when an owner has to euthanize one of their cats. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful and make sure they address all your needs either on the phone or when checking out on site. The fact it is a cat only facility is awesome and the icing on the cake. I would recommend Cat Care to any cat owner! Prices are reasonable.

Forest Oaks Animal Hospital: Kleisch Rodger DVM
2001 Alamance Church Rd, GreensboroThis has taken me a month to write after the loss of my sweet boy, JJ. He was an 11 year old tuxedo cat and was strictly indoors. Because of this, I hadn’t gotten him established with a vet since he moved in with us from my mom in NY a few years ago. We never had any issues with him so when he started hiding under the bed and acting differently.. I knew something was wrong. Forest Oaks is less than a mile from our house so it was a no brainer to bring him here. From the moment I called (and cried) every person I spoke to was kind, caring and attentive. I told them what was happening with JJ and they had me bring him the next morning to get examed. Dr. Coble called me himself after he examed JJ, and said we could have a few possibilities on our hand- maybe diabetes but would need to recheck his levels after a few days. We spent the next few days stopping in and out and picking up medicines but JJ was going down hill fast. 2 weeks later we made the incredibly difficult decision to say goodbye and end his suffering. Dr. Coble mailed a hand written card to us a few days after this and I was truly blown away by this act. The staff here treated us like they’d known JJ his whole life, from the ladies at the front desk to Dr. Coble himself. One of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do was say goodbye but am truly so thankful to have come here and meet this team. If you’re considering Forest Oaks as your vet, do it. You will not be disappointed by their level of care and compassion.

They took time with us and really showed an interest in our Fur Kids, you can tell they really love what they do.
From the Vet Tech to the front office staff everyone was so incredibly welcoming and kind.

GreensboroChris was great! We first reached out to Chris about our pup who was exhibiting leash reactivity. We set up an initial session and Chris told us that our pup might need medication instead! We thought it was very responsible and signaled he knows exactly what he's doing! We since got our pup on medication and after awhile, we thought he still needing training. After just a few sessions, we saw such an improvement! Chris gave us the skills and resources in order to train our pup. Our pup is now thriving! We are able to take him on longer walks and in more locations than before without the fear of losing control of him. If you have a leash reactive pup or are interested in training you dog, I highly recommend Dogs Anonymous.

We had never left her in the care of someone else, but Tony and Lisa made this an easy no-brainer process for us. I was so impressed by the attention to detail Tony showed during our initial meeting. Once we were away, he sent us text message updates and photos of our cat, which we appreciated so much! Such a simple act truly goes a long way. She was getting interaction, play time, and treats. When we got back, I found notes/details of each visit they had with Ninja. I cannot recommend Tony and Lisa enough, and I would absolutely use their services again. If you need a pet sitter in Greensboro, they're the ones to do it!

She got in the car and she had a cone with three generous scoops of ice cream. Before I could think of taking a photo of the cone, she had eaten most of the ice-cream, so the picture I took was of a much enjoyed cone of ice-cream minus the majority of the ice-cream. The staff is attentive and quick in their service. There are tables inside and outside with family games that can be played. At night there are stringed lights above the tables. Come and enjoy. You will not be disappointed.

The staff is wonderful, shoutout to Luke with the Disney pins for always bringing great energy. The food and wine never miss. I've loved everything from relaxing with a glass of wine to sharing a bottle with a friend or joining the weekly themed wine tastings. They also serve desserts from The Salted Phoenix, if you've ever seen them at the Corner Farmers Market, you know how good they are. The lineup of recent events has been excellent, with something new to look forward to every week. I recently went to one of their Tuesday themed trivia nights, and it was absolutely hilarious (and surprisingly competitive). The Twilight theme night had me laughing the whole time -- a little chaotic, a lot of fun, and some of the side conversations went way deep. I'm already eyeing future trivia nights, I'll be back when the theme lets me unleash my useless pop culture knowledge, maybe 2000s Broadway or Disney Channel movies? Last Saturday's house/jazz DJ set with Jon.Viz was amazing. The vibe was intimate, warm, and totally unique. To top it all off, they have a wine club that I'm planning to join in January 2026. The selection is thoughtful, affordable, and clearly curated by people who genuinely love what they do. Lewis & Elm has that rare mix of comfort, community, and creativity -- a perfect little escape right in the middle of Greensboro. P.S. the check comes in a small book where guests can leave notes. It's a lovely detail that makes each visit feel special. I definitely recommend writing one.

When we first walked inside, he was too nervous so we headed outside. Vibes immaculate! They kept a legit watchful eye on every dog, but without killing the fun. You can actually relax/have fun, have a drink, and trust that your fur-kid is in great hands.
Super friendly, super safe, super fun. I heard staff on my video hyping up my boy like “Way to go, Conrad!” ? Conrad had a BLAST and is already planning his return!❤️?
