“Cheapest bulk spices, great fresh dairy products, yummy soups and salads, and super nice people who work there. Best place to find mindful gifts like local honey or candles, and don't forget the $8 organic Argentinian wine!”
“This location is temporarily closed due to hurricane Helene flooding. A temporary pharmacy has been set up on site to care for pharmacy customers. (Open Mon-Fri)
I have always enjoyed shopping here and look forward to their reopening. I'm confident they will be even better than ever.
UPDATE: The store has reopened June 2025! So happy to see all of the friendly faces. Now able to buy the products I love and can only find at Harris Teeter. Welcome back!”
“Almost always has what we need at a very reasonable price. From artisan lettuce to 93% fat free ground turkey, sliced cheeses and whipping cream... unless it's on sale somewhere else, their prices are the best.”
“This little store has been around for a very long time. The people that run the place are very polite and kind. They have pretty much anything you'd get at most other convenient stores.”
“I'm a local and they are very nice and friendly. They remember me and my wife and what we usually get and Mimi knows my voice when I call for pizza and just the little things that make you feel good about the day is why I love going there. Plus it keeps money in the community.”
“From the road I was excited to stop in- an indoor farmers market with local crafts- that sounds right up my alley! If I were local I would stop here for fresh produce and eggs, but for me they didn't have anything that jumped out at me. Some of the booths have antiques and vintage items, the quilts were fabulous and some of the wood crafts, I wish I had found something to splurge on!”
“i have been using curbside pickup for about 3 months. i have a friend or neighbor pick up my order for me and drop it at my house. the system works great!! all the staff are very accommodating. i highly recommend it.”
“Clean, neat, well organized stores. All of them. They carry a large variety of brands and many organic items. I’m partial to the store on Asheville Highway in Hendersonville because they have THE best employees.”
“Winding down the trail hungry like 5 mountain lions I see a clearing with lights. Having been through this region I knew it could only be 1 thing. I creep upon the edge of the black grass stratosphere of salt blocks and cinnamon chips I see the red lighthouse of hunger. I find my way through the gigantic metal carnivores, teaming with the lost dreams of bigger glory and a single life. As I get close there are signs I am in the rifhr place, one even said spam 50 cents a case, I hewr the bells ringing, the angels singing as I approach with caution and aspirations of grilled asparagus I see the holy gate, the entrance to this talisman of greatness. As i walk through the gates into the cave of many isles I immediately realize, I forgot the shopping list, the wife's gonna kill me..”
“Never been here before now. Prices are comparable to Food Lion and Harris Teeter but a little more selection. I really like the cheese area, second only to Trader Joe's in my opinion.”
“First time visiting this Grocery Outlet. During my travels I always look for GO stores because each one seem to have different gems to stock up. This one was very clean and stocked well. A downside was all grocery items were not clearly price marked. A lot of the items were far from being expired only a few with a 15-30 day window expiration date. Because I'm traveling I wasn't able to stock up on frozen or meat items, however the prices and variety were both decent. Would definitely go back if ever in the area. Staff was visible stocking and pleasant.”
“I have used this pharmacy for past 10 yrs. These are the best anywhere. They try everyway to help. I recently switched my mom to them. The walgreens up the street was a nightmare.”
“Very small store with a decent selection. Automotive service is good but there's normally nobody out front. If you can't find anyone, they're probably in or around the shop on the left side of the building.”
“The man and lady as we walked in were friendly . Older station with clean facilities. You can find some good old traditional North Carolina snacks here. Gas was 3.63 a gallon”
“I stopped by here on a trip to Hendersonville a few months ago. I just love how cute and clean this little grocery store is. Staff is super friendly. Definitely good prices.”

“Just had the nicest young man help me. I called every Dollar General in town and no one would look for the item for me except the young man at this one! I when I get his name I'll update this review.”
“Wonderful little store! Sure, I don’t speak Spanish so that’s a handicap for me, but the young lady I spoke to summoned a boy who could answer my question. The meats are amazing--fresh and beautiful! I got some lovely osso bucco--almost impossible to find elsewhere and when you do it’s a lot more expensive!”
“My what a difference a few years make. Totally remodeled, renovated, enlarged and a sophisticated delight. But the BIGGEST NEWS is the much discussed Friday Steak Night. We had heard so much about it we decided to give it a try. Our neighbor joined us and we had a delicious bone in rib eye steak dinner with salad, bread, baked potato and choice of beverage (coke products or tea). $12.98 for all that. There were attractive floral arrangements on each table; TRUE dinner utensils (metal, not plastic) with steak knives; real glasses (no styrofoam); china plates; and green to-go boxes. When you arrive at the store, go to the deli cash register and order the doneness of your steak and the dressing you prefer on your salad. Select your table and in just a jiffy, your salad is delivered by the waiter who takes your beverage order. Before you know it the entree and side is delivered. The waiter checks regularly to be sure everything is ok. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and this totally off the wall dining concept. I mean, a steak dinner in a grocery deli?? The steaks are the same for all customers but the selection changes each week: ribeye, sirloin, etc. If you don't like the choice of sides, you can substitute from the selections on the hot bar. A quick head count showed there were 14 people partaking of the steak dinner during the hour we were there. This is offered every Friday from 4-8 and reservations are NOT necessary. The ambience is NOT fine dining--bright fluorescence, canned music, people with grocery carts. But the steaks were tender, flavorful, and HUGE. We shall return!”
“Everyone says Don is such a friendly guy and it's so great in these reviews I think he must have wrote them anyway the little punk tells me last night that district manager has banned me I've not been brought on any charges never informed of why long story short I'm a service veteran I walk everywhere not cuz I'm homeless or broke because I choose to I have a service companion her name is Scout I had to honor of serving beside her for 6 years in Israel unexploded ordinance division she sniffed out explosive materials saved countless lives she did now I've been banned meaning have no access to food for her it's the only place I can walk to within reason so animal lovers cuz I know I can't get any compassion a disabled service veteran doesn't mean anything to people but a dog does express your concerns to this store please thank you dog loving Nation done play some more reviews about yourself oh and district manager to this store is Amanda Pope if anybody would like to contact her stuck on herself Dyke”
“My insurance company made me switch pharmacies and I’m happy they did. Ingles pharmacy is faster and cheaper than the pharmacy across the street, customer service is better too.”
“The older gas attendant that works evenings I'm guessing part-time maybe I don't know he could be consistently friendly. Maybe he just likes being lazy on his butt to do nothing. The man needs to smile at his customers no matter how many times they come up to the window”
“Griffin's Cafe: Excellent pizza, excellent burgers, excellent fish sandwich, excellent fried shrimp, excellent Mexican, just all excellent. A+ thank you for the awesome food!!!”
“Great job during the gas shortage, they kept it orderly and moving along, price was fair, they stopped people from cutting the line, limited gas purchase to $20 per customer to allow more people to get gas, and were friendly during the transaction.”
“Krystal, the assistant store manager was super helpful getting balloons for a yard sale blown up and did it while assisting other customers with kindness and grace. She was my Good Samaritan today! Also, this is one of the cleanest, most stocked Dollar General’s I’ve even been to. 10/10 experience. Thank yall.”
“As Floridians we were happy to find this Publix so convenient to us. Nicely laid out and well stocked. We usually go to Ingalls while in NC, but not this time. Just didn’t seem the same as in previous years. Thank you Publix for opening here. You need a larger parking lot though!”
