And that includes staff of whatever gender.Ace is not “the store I go to if I can’t find it closer at the big box” it’s “my GO-TO” store.Unlike the big box stores, you don’t have to spend 15 minutes just trying to find someone who can help you (and then can’t). I sometimes come looking for a fitting or doohickie for which I have no name but can only attempt to describe. They help me find it, with a smile. It’s a pleasant experience, not a frustrating one.Also, they care about quality. When I need a good shovel, or a nice heavy mattock, I want a GOOD tool, not a cheap one. They’ve got it--or can order it.”

“I've Used king rental twice. Once to rent a hammer drill and once to rent a track loader. Both times pick up was quick and the equipment worked perfectly. They are conveniently located in downtown Hendersonville. It's so nice to be able to rent expensive tools that I don't use enough to buy for myself.”

Terry & Patty have been outstanding with helping us get the best products, working within our budget and ensuring that we had all the materials we needed- when we needed them. Llyod in windows, Bobby in lumber, Ashley in paint, Emily at customer service and SO many more have helped us out tremendously, we are so thankful. Having to run to the same store multiple times a day (because you forgot something) can be tedious, but knowing that it will be a great experience with friendly and helpful staff has made taking those many trips enjoyable! Especially if you need to get copies made of your house key and your contractor super-glued a cover on the key. 3 keys made by Ace Hardware did NOT work but the 3 made by Richard Osborne, Pro Department Supervisor, work beautifully! The simple task of making a key was complicated by the glued-on cover and it required two employees using snips, pliers, a knife and possibly some special incantations to remove the cover and expose the key to be copied. Richard was friendly, helpful, and thorough in his valiant and successful effort to cut me 3 shiny new keys that all work on my house. Thank you for your perseverance, Richard and Home Depot.”
