Both times I have come to Cross Hose on this project, Woodie has come outside and looked at the truck I was having problems with and quickly came up with a straight forward and cost effective solution to the problem. “I found Harbor Freight recently while looking for less expensive tools. I find their products and prices above expectations. I can't afford top of the line tools, but don't really need them for occasional repairs. The value I find here is beyond acceptable and the power tools are as good as the overpriced tools in other box stores. I highly recommend checking them out!”

“Clean, Employees Helpful. If they have it they'll direct you Or Get it for you. When I went it was Day before Ice Storm, There were a Lot of People. Nobody Was Rushing around Except Shoppers. There was a Very Large line of people waiting for a Delivery Truck I was in the line (Wrong Line) Everyone was Talking and Socializing. I Realized I was in the Wrong Line, However it wasn't an Imposition Because Everyone was So Pleasant, Then when I discovered it, We All got a Good Chuckle!!! It Was Okay. “Very disappointed and was made to feel uncomfortable. I was in a hurry and in search of a single product. I showed up at 7:45pm (they close at 8) and was greeted by two 'ear to ear' smiles standing at the entrance. One of those was repeatedly tapping at his wrist watch. I asked him what time it was and he said 7:45 and then proceeded to tell me they close at 8. I knew this before I hopped in my truck to head over there. Anyhow, very discouraging and I give 4 stars because I know how damaging bad reviews can be. Also, I am generally happy with my local Harbor Freight and have always been treated well.”

“A huge thank you to Kelly Semones and Holston Gases who came through for me quickly and efficiently after I had been badly let down by Southern States. I was on the auto fill program with Southern States which means they can see your propane level from their location and they don't let you run out of gas that way.
Not only did they let me run out of gas last week in bitterly cold weather, they didn't come for 8 days and left me high and dry in a VERY cold house. Desperate, I called Kelly at Holston who arranged to set up an account for me to get their service, but he actually drove out to my house in Swannanoa from Waynesville and bought me a portable propane heater to help warm the place for the weekend. That was over and above the call of duty and so kind and considerate of him and I really appreciated it. Now I am sitting in a warm house with my gas stove up and running again all thanks to Kelly Semones and Holston Gases. If you need propane for residential heat like me, give them a call - you won't regret it!”
“Ace is NOT the place: Home Depot is! Especially if you need to get copies made of your house key and your contractor super-glued a cover on the key. 3 keys made by Ace Hardware did NOT work but the 3 made by Richard Osborne, Pro Department Supervisor, work beautifully! The simple task of making a key was complicated by the glued-on cover and it required two employees using snips, pliers, a knife and possibly some special incantations to remove the cover and expose the key to be copied. Richard was friendly, helpful, and thorough in his valiant and successful effort to cut me 3 shiny new keys that all work on my house. Thank you for your perseverance, Richard and Home Depot.”
