“If you want to save about 30 cents per gallon from what you pay if you live in Leland (still brunswick county so I dont know how this is possible) then get a destination in Shallotte as there are plenty of restaurants and shopping and fill 'er up before you head home!!”

“Great family Gas station, you can get a fishing licenses and they have great snacks for time on the Shallotte River and ICW. Also have Non ethanol gas perfect for boat motors. They also have some good fishing tackle if you forgot that you ran out of hooks and other lures they might have just what you need to get a good fish.”
“A very nice carryout with the basic staples you might need: milk, bread, bananas, beer, soda and more. Some beach supplies, and other fun goodies. Easy to get in and out. I’ve been here many times and they are always super friendly.”
“Had the least expensive gas in town with a parking lot you could actually get into. Plenty of pumps and space to drive and park. It was really busy but still no problems getting in and out even with all the cars and people down for the fourth of July.”

“Store was very clean but what I was most impressed with and wasn’t expecting was a very clean restroom. It actually even smelled good lol The woman at the counter, Rowna, greeted every customer that came in while I was there. She has a beautiful and friendly smiling face. I like to shout out when I see others doing a good job and this place should be recognized! Thank you for a clean restroom! It’s so appreciated when traveling!”

“I love take 5 oil changes! I’ve lived in many states and all across the board they offer top notch service. As a young adult, I would go in for top offs before my next oil change and they did this free of charge. Now, as a mother of three small children, I cannot bring myself to go to any place that does not allow us to stay in our cars. When the new take 5 opened up in shallotte, I was so happy! The staff was incredibly respectful, helpful, considerate, and thoughtful. They offered me a cold water right away and when they saw my 3 littles, they were given fruit snacks. Service was speedy and super helpful! Would definitely recommend!”
“I’ve lived in hold for 15 years and this is my go to store because of Dawn. She does her job well which is hard to find these days. No one wants to work. She know what needs to be done and gets it done. She’s very knowledgeable about everything. She’s such a wonderful person and human. She puts a smile on my face every time I see her. I love coming to the store every morning and having a daily chat with her. If she ever left I would stop coming to that store. She’s the only one there with a personality.”

“The cashier was friendly. The parking lot could be a lot better, I wouldn't recommend anyone with a large vehicle or trailer to try to come here for gas.
I'm not too sure how the gas does.. since I only got enough to make it home & then finished filling up somewhere else the next morning.”
