The gentleman running the store, realized what we needed and gave us the bathroom key, and insisted I hold on to it until my son was done to keep anybody from accidentally walking in on him. Talking to the gentleman running the store, you could tell he genuinely cares for the safety of his customers and has a passion for keeping his store a safe place anyone can stop at. “Stopped here for a quick fill up. The gas pumps had the most up to date payment possibilities. A convenient touchscreen prompting me for a rewards card number. Stepped in for a quick drink, and they had ample selection. Plenty of choices for snacks as well as a full size subway towards the back of the store. Definitely an easy place for a quick stop and a meal in a pinch. It was about as clean as I would expect a gas station in Hubert to be.”
The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.
