βI heard on TikTok that Lowes Foods has a $3 matcha latte so I wanted to check it out.
Unfortunately I found out they recently took matcha off the menu (and it was more than $3).
But nonetheless it’s a cool store—very cutesy and demure. Prices are a bit high so probably not in everyone’s budget for daily shopping.β
βHelpful employees anytime I've had to ask where something is whoever I ask always goes above and beyond, at times even checking in the back when we can't find a product.β
βI asked customer service about a specific size of envelope. I needed one for a meaningful note that I was handing to someone on my wedding day. They told me they didn’t sell the size I needed, but they were able to offer me one from the stores own supply free of charge.β
βI love all the Aldis in Charlotte and in my hometown of Huntersville. I save So much money and can also do some Christmas shopping. Got the cutest crossbody purse for my granddaughter. I've told my friends that Aldis has the best ground beef. I'm paying more than I did last year but it's still a great deal compared to other grocery chains. I love their bagged salads. Their mushrooms are at a great price as well. Butter, milk, and eggs are a great deal. I often buy two of the butters because I do a lot of baking.
I rarely spend over $25 and fill my shopping bags up!β

βIβve traded with Gas House since they opened. Previously traded with Teshβs At the same location for years. Day before yesterday I bought a scratch off and one $500. Iβve never bought a scratch off there before. I rarely buy scratch off ever. The owners and hard workers are always very friendly.β
βLoved the bulk bin area. It was clean and well stocked with lots of options. It does need a wall sign instructing you what needs to be written on the paper bags though for an efficient check out.
Bakery items were gorgeous. Essential oil area and handmade soaps were well stocked. Prices are the biggest negative overall. Staff was a little aloof at this location.β
βNeeded to exchange some cash and fix an order I messed up. Dustin was a huge help. Everyone at the customer service center was good but dustin went above and beyond.β

βGreat Latin foods store with a lot of variety from different countries. They have a great variety of products, good prices and awesome service. Harina PAN, tequenos, Queso de Mano, platanos, etcβ
βSuper nice and well stocked Harris teeter. Went here for Memorial Day weekend it was busy but not too bad. The parking lot is big and easy to navigate. The staff were kind enough and answered questions easily. The aisles were stocked and they had good summer deals. Their watermelons were plentiful. They also have a large (somewhat pricy) alcohol selection. The cashiers and self checkout lines were not too busy so we didn't wait too long. Very clean too.β
βI recently had abdominal surgery to remove Fibroids. I live alone and still need to prepare dinner. I wanted to make some Curry Chicken using leg quarts but I am unable to cut my chicken up the way I am use to. Because I went to Tractor Supply Co in Denver NC to pick up my pups dog food I felt I could get 2 task done on that side of town.I stopped by the Harris Teeter at 149 Cross Center Rd. I approached the young man in the meat section and explain my situation and asked if he could cut the chicken up for me as a courtesy. He went on to tell me that he only has regular knives like I do at home and not a meat cutting machine. Tell me which grocery store, especially one with a meat section, that does not have the equipment to cut meat and he would have to use the same knives I use at home. it's as if he felt I was an idiot. I don't pull the race card but I did feel that if I was blond hair blue eyes he would find that machine. I then drove across town to Public's off of Giles's Rd Huntersville, did the same thing and the young man said he'd ask. the mean manager came out and took my chicken himself. Cut it up in minutes and handed it back to me with a smile. Harris was my go to but I'm definitely changing that to Public's now. Thank you Publix for being so compassionate and empathetic.β

βMy 1st time going to this location on August 30th at 3:00 pm. I just want to give a shout out to associate Nancy. I had a cart full, there was only one cashier open so I went to the self checkout. Nancy immediately came to me and started the checkout process for me. While helping the other customers she still managed to scan and bag most of my items. I was out of there in no time. NANCY You Rock!!! I would have given 5 stars if the store manager would have answered one of the 3 calls I made. I wanted to to share my experience with the manager.β
βThis store has things like shampoo, orange juice, and cantaloupe. It has other great things too. Sometimes those things are on sale, and sometimes they are not.
If you look at the photos, you will see that I stopped for a woman with a cane in the rain.
You will also notice a damply atmospheric photo of the signage.
Overall, an amazing place to shop.β

βMade a stop at this Walmart location. This is the normal location that I usually stop at to pick up any items that are needed. Every time that I have come into this Walmart location, they have always had all of the items that I've needed.They are located on Old Statesville Ave. there is plenty of parking in the lot which is designated for the Walmart location. There are also other establishments in the same plaza such as McDonald's, fire stone auto, and an Exxon gas station with a car wash. So essentially it could be a one stop shop for all things that are needed.The staff inside the location is normally very helpful, however as with all Walmart locations unless you go early you will likely stand in line. However the good thing is that the self check-out isles normally run very quickly and are not as busy as the regular checkout lanes.β

βI was incredibly hungry one day, so I made a visit to the Publix deli. What graced my palette remains a vivid memory in my head and will forever be cherished. I went up to the counter, as one does, and I ordered the notorious Chicken Bacon Ranch. Little did I know the man I was placing my order with was the most talented, skilled, and versed sub maker to ever walk the earth. This man’s name was Luis. I have never seen him since and I doubt I ever will. He may have been an angel in disguise sent to bless me for some unknown reason. But Luis crafted that sub to perfection, in an almost intimate way. Every once in while I will dream of that sub and Luis. One day we will meet again my friend, may it be soonβ
