“Hi, just wanted to give a shout out to the wonderful people over at Crisis Control Ministry of Kernersville. My family experienced a hardship that put us in a bad place financially. Everyone that we dealt with there was respectful and genuinely compassionate to our situation. They are a valuable resource for anyone who may be struggling emotionally, spirituality or financially in our community. Thank you and God bless, Michael Lockamy.”

“Ever changing merchandise. Decent, not great prices. The management seems to be getting proud of their stuff. Too bad, since this is close to the lower income side of Kville. Since they get the stuff for free, you would think they would have half off days and othet fun instead of just throwing it to the bins.”

“I am 54 yrs old. When I moved to hp in the early 2000s, i recognized this place. I went to church camp at the age of seven with my older sister! It was an adventure that I have cherished my entire life! From horses, to bible study classes, to prayer groups, and to taking a bus to an indoor pool in greensboro, it was remarkable! Does anyone else remember going to camp here in the early 1970's?”

“This was our first time and we loved the place! This farm is good for all ages. My daughter is three and isn't too excited about animals and there was toys for her to play with. She did enjoy feeding the goats. This is a non profit organization and I thinks it's amazing that there is a little spot in Winston like this that rescues farm animals. I know one volunteer told me that two of the donkeys they rescued was in the intensive care unit for a week before they were able to come to the farm after being rescued. There are some animals with missing legs and they have little wheelchairs for them which is just precious.”

“I don't know why I ever stopped shopping here in my 20's. I will go here first and almost always find something. Reduce and reuse and save! I always find a treasure or two or three...or more. It is crazy to me what people get rid of sometimes. Really good vintage finds the past few weeks. And vintage is baaaack baby! Kids shoes brand new with tags the other day. Just wish they did discount days- hope that will be a thing soon. A full patio set for $10-$30 a piece. Housewares galore.”
