“I am pleased to share my experience with the exceptional team at Mi Casa from the very first day, they provided great support and guidance throughout my immigration journey. Their expertise was instrumental in assisting me with my work permit applications, navigating the complexities of obtaining a green card, and ultimately achieving my goal of becoming a proud U.S. citizen. The professionalism and dedication of the staff were evident at every step of the process. They were always available to answer my questions and address any concerns, ensuring that I felt informed and confident in each phase of my application. I highly recommend Mi Casa to anyone seeking assistance with immigration matters. Nilda and her team are top notch at what they do. Their commitment to their clients and their thorough understanding of the immigration process make them an outstanding choice. ????”

“Nice place to see the more obscure films. However, same ticket price as large movie theaters with extremely uncomfortable, old school seats. Definitely NO luxury seating, here.”
“I love this area of downtown. The modern mixed with historic buildings are really cool. Bailey Park is a great place for employees or students to hang out and enjoy a nice day. They plan a ton of events to enjoy. The surrounding restaurants and businesses really add to this part of downtown.”
“Fairytale Farm is a wonderful sanctuary that has been unmatched in their dedication and commitment to rescue efforts in our community. As the only rescue for domestic rabbits in our area, they were instrumental in saving over 70 domestic rabbits that had been dumped all over Forsyth County this past summer. Without Fairytale, those bunnies would not have survived. When my daughter was looking to add bunnies to a therapy program she was assisting with, Fairytale matched them up with three wonderful bunnies. If you are thinking of adopting, would like to foster or have some time to volunteer, Fairytale is a great choice!
It is a small organization and could use all the support possible from our community.”
“A wonderful establishment that provides programs to help families save money, purchase a home, partner with other community entities for credit repair, a youth leadership program…increasing affordable housing is a responsibility to all.”
“Blossom Davis is the pinnacle of the Goodwill Veteran and Career services

“I’m Mary Garvey and I grew up in Winston-Salem. I believe this Goodwill on University Parkway was the first one I ever went to when I was 13 in 1972. It changed my life and inspired me to open up a consignment shop, the clothesline, in Greensboro, North Carolina and that is what I did for over 25 years! I’m now 66 years old and I still tell people that the Goodwill on University Parkway is consistently THE BEST ONE I’ve shopped and I’ve shopped at Goodwill‘s in over 20 states. I find designer merchandise and unique styles that are as fine as those from the some of the wealthiest cities in this country. And their prices quite reasonable across the board. I mainly shop for women’s clothing but Winston Salem’s “old money” generation collected fabulous art/pottery/textiles, etc that have been passed down then ended up in Goodwill’s art corner. And the staff there are friendly as heck. They always thank me for taking everything off the hangers.
My mother (Frances Wilson)is 94 and still lives in Winston Salem so I get in trouble BAD at this Goodwill every two weeks. I LOVE GOODWILL! AND I LOVE WINSTON SALEM!”

“Large store. Some good stuff cheap if you look around. The drive-thru donation drop-off is very convenient, didn't even have to get out my car. I hate throwing away things someone else can use!”
“Elevation Church/ YWCA great church and very nice YWCA facility. Campus Pastor is great and very friendly. They also have pickle ball during the week. You praise Jesus and get your workout on! Can't beat that!!!”

“Recently I’ve had to take time off for medical reasons. Crisis Control helped us with food in August and in October. Yesterday they were able to help with a portion of our November rent!!
They helped with food again in April because someone decided to break our car window in the middle of the night. The cost of this crime cost me all my grocery money.
Today I had to put my 16 year old dog down. I may have to call them again. They do help!”
“One of my favorite independent bookstores and anyone that knows me knows that I make a point to visit a few anytime I travel. Wonderful booksellers that are extremely knowledgeable and always willing to help. This will forever be my stop for personal reads and gifts for my nieces and nephews.
Plenty of parking shared with Foothills on the reverse side.”
